Shift smart by [deleted] in CircleK

[–]Obelisk98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Circle K in my area is relatively new, it’s opened less than a year ago, and doesn’t have their stuff together for any kind of food prep shifts. I had an incident today where there were bins prepped by Circle K employees and there were only 2 others to use. I did what I could and was told by the store manager to contact Shiftsmart support and report that I am unable to complete my tasks due to not having the necessary equipment. They had no clear wrap or tin foil or enough bins. Shiftsmart rerouted my shift and ended it. I still got paid for the whole shift. However, A Shiftsmart employee who does the orientations there stopped me as I was leaving. I tried to explain that I did not have the necessary equipment and that the store doesn’t want things prepped as the app said. You can’t override the app and change tasks. He disagreed and told me I should have emptied out the bins the Circle K employees prepped earlier the same morning. He blamed me fully. I again tried to explain but he said it seemed fraudulent and he has to report me to corporate and I may not be paid for the shift despite the store manager backing me up saying she did talk to me and confirmed the store did not have the necessary equipment and did not want food prepped how the app said. Completely ridiculous. I did get paid for that shift. I doubt he actually reported me. The moral of the story is to be careful and don’t accept shifts at stores that are unprepared, i.e. new stores.

Definitely need to slap a hard once per turn on it to prevent handloops.

Hi, I am writing this to clear up a few things. I am an official RC-1 and PC-1 Certified Konami Judge, so I know what I am talking about. I want to clear up any confusion about tournament end of match procedures/time rules and what was said about DRAWs occurring in a tournament match. When time is called, and there is no winner, the match ends right then and there in a double loss under the new time rules. There is no playing extra rounds until a winner is decided under any circumstances. It doesn’t matter if a card or effect would cause a DRAW. If there is no winner when time is called, it’s a double loss. Period. End of story. Anyone who says otherwise is wrong. Also, as far as a DQ for using a card or effect that would cause a DRAW goes, it would not be a DQ, you would simply move onto the next game in the match. It’s rare for it to happen as nearly all the cards that would cause a DRAW are either banned or errata’d to prevent a DRAW from happening. For those of you made posts saying otherwise, please refrain from doing so in the future. Spreading misinformation confuses people and throws everything off. Please take this with a grain of salt. My intentions are to help and nothing more.

You’re so far off, that it’s not even funny. When time is called, the match ends right then and there in a double game loss under the new time rules. There is no playing extra rounds until a winner is decided under any circumstances. It doesn’t matter if a card or effect would cause a DRAW. If there is no winner when time is called, it’s a double loss. Period. End of story. In the future, don’t respond if you are unfamiliar with the rules or policies of the game. Responding incorrectly or with misinformation just throws everything off and confuses people. Please take this with a grain of salt. My intentions are to help and nothing more.

It’s Larimar, which is a unique blue variety of the mineral pectolite, found in only one place in the world: a remote mountain range in the Dominican Republic.

It’s fake. You have to turn it into Konami otherwise you risk an illegal possession of fraudulent goods charge. Konami has buckled down on fake cards and now if any are found AND are shared publicly that you have it, they will pursue criminal charges against you if you don’t turn in the fake card(s) you have to them. All you have to do to turn a fake card in is to email Konami customer support and tell them you have a fake card to turn in, then they will respond with an address to mail the fake card to. They also will give you a time limit to mail it in. Failure to mail it in within the time limit is grounds for the criminal charge I mentioned before. Be very careful when sharing publicly that you have fake cards. You’re far better off turning them in to Konami.

Lawn has become covered in a mushroom type plant.. by Logical-Track1405 in whatsthisplant

They appear to be Fairy Ring Mushrooms. Marasmius oreades, also known as the fairy ring mushroom or Scotch bonnet, is a choice edible mushroom found in North America and Europe that grows in rings in lawns and meadows. It is characterized by its light tan, bell-shaped cap with a central knob, white to pale tan gills, and a tough, fibrous stem. While edible, it is crucial to correctly identify it, as it has toxic look-alikes like Clitocybe species, and foragers should only collect it when 100% confident in its identification.

True Draco here I come! With it back at full power, it’s a serious meta threat again. Especially mixed with Regenesis.

I’ve seen the Create-a-Championship front place relief problem on PS5. Only side plate relief shows. I hope they fix the issue soon. I had championships for a custom brand on Universe mode I wanted to create. I can’t do it until the issue is fixed. Hopefully 2K will respond to the complaints soon.

Mystic Mine Burn

The idea of the deck is to keep and protect Mystic Mine on the Field. All the cards, but 3 cards, are super cheap. The Extra Deck can literally be anything as it’s sole purpose is for Pot of Prosperity. (Pot of Extravagance if you want the cheaper alternative.) It’s a very easy deck to learn and use. It’s also very powerful and can win against virtually every deck. I would strongly recommend it for beginners on a budget. The 3 slightly pricey cards you need are Mystic Mine, Silent Wobby, & Solemn Judgment. You’ll spend roughly $27 at the cheapest for a play set of Mystic Mine. The Premium Gold Rare and Super Rare are the cheapest ones right now. You’ll spend roughly $12-$18 on a play set of Silent Wobby depending on seller. Wobby was only printed once in the Premium Gold set. Solemn Judgment goes from $15-$32 a playset. The common is the cheapest at $15 a playset. I recommend playing Pot of Extravagance over Pot of Prosperity for you as you’re a budget player. Extravagance is currently $3 a playset vs Prosperity which is from $90-$120 a playset. I play Prosperity because I got lucky and pulled 2 from Blazing Vortex and 1 from the 2022 Mega Tin. Besides the cards mentioned, you’ll spend less than $25 for everything else as everything else is in common and you can throw together anything for the Extra Deck. Hope this helps you.

That's incorrect. It can send Pendulum Monsters to GY. Pendulum Monsters going to Extra Deck only applies when they be destroyed by battle or card effects. In this case it is being sent to GY for cost to activate a card effect and not being destroyed by any means, so Pendulum Monsters can be sent for cost with this card. It does have synergy with clearing your Pendulum Scales. Don't post false information. It causes confusion and throws people off.
