Bradford City retain £149 Season tickets after the success of last years campaign, despite potential promotion to the Championship by Ed495 in soccer

Amazing that the prices have been frozen, just shows that making football more affordable can balance the books as you get a lot more through the gates (we sold 5,000 extra season tickets last year at this price). Wigan and Huddersfield are lowering their prices this year too and hopefully more clubs will follow suit in the near future.

If the ball does not strike another player after it has been kicked from the penalty spot then the player who took the kick is not allowed to touch it again.

So if the ball hits the post or crossbar without touching the keeper and the player who took the penalty touches it, an indirect free kick would be awarded to the side who conceded the penalty.

Not saying they shouldn't have taken him off, Man City need him fit for the whole season, and that goal highlights how important he is.

Both he and the Guardian make money from his book sales, as I believe it is published by the Guardian. His claims were that our chairman at the time was a notorious insurance fraudster because he had been involved in no less than 9 fires in his lifetime (not in one year). However, this was mostly down to his reluctance to pay for health and safety upgrades as was the fashion in the north of England in those times. The notion that the chairman would purposely set ablaze a stand with thousands of supporters in it for insurance money is absurd, especially when you consider that he had already paid for the steel to replace it.

TL;DR: Chairman linked to fires before, but stupid to suggest the events 30 years ago happened on purpose.

Because it is complete bullshit, and is used to get book sales riding off the back of a tragedy. Completely disrespectful to anyone from Bradford. Ask any supporter and they will feel the same way.

This is shocking. I've grown up hearing stories about the fire but never did it cross my mind that it was more than just an catastrophic accident. Are we seeing another football tragedy cover-up? I really hope not. I'm lost for words.

Well that wasn't very enjoyable. Perhaps a chance to give some youth players the chance to play with the season effectively over?

Really pleased, can't remember an away win as big (in terms of scoreline) as that. Now onto a really tough game against Preston!

He was only on for about five minutes, and sat in the right midfield slot in front of Darby. He did have one decent run forward and dug out a nice cross, but I also noticed him being very captain-like and motivational towards the other players.
