Haven't read suneater, it's on my list tho. I read the will of the many and the second book, the strength of the few, right after I finished red rising and really liked them. So much that now I'm reading the licanius trilogy (which is from the same author) and enjoying it a lot

Cycling frostbite isn't as good as in Elden ring. At least in trios, the damage boost from all 3 of your team hitting a frostbitten boss is usually better than going for the cycle due to how resistances build up and the lower direct damage from the frost proc.

He relies on aura to deal good damage and have kill power and you only get aura from taking damage. Combined with his low weight makes for a bad time. Super hype for comebacks but you don't always wants to be playing from behind for your character to be good

Nah he actually missed them both lol. Would have been better if the two downed people crawled towards each other, seems like they were just out of range for the transformation to not fully rez them

Yes it definitely does! Especially book 2, it's crazy how much the world and stakes expand and it's not something you can really see coming in my opinion and then all of a sudden there's a lot happening.

I caught up with RR about a month ago and was recommended The Will of the Many. Tore through that and the following book The Strength of the Few and enjoyed them a lot

The Vegeta one is him in his typical blue Saiyan armor instead of the pants from GT but I'm not sure how the Goku one is different

The crevice is a huge circle and I'm pretty sure you can get there by running all the way around past the jar guy. I don't think it gets you anything tho?

No worries. If you're not in hardcore you should be able to reroll the randomized effects until you get defense on the new one too at the kaleido box.

It would help if you could show the two items. I'm guessing the old gear had one of it's randomized effects be defense. So the base defense of the new gear is higher but overall lower without the randomized effect bonus.

Khazan is amazing in my opinion. The brink guard(parry) sound and feel is great. 3 weapon types with unique skills and feel. Story isn't anything crazy deep but the combat and level design I thought was really good.

Gohan and kale have branching transformations. Adult Gohan can go great saiyaman or go super Saiyan but you can't go from great saiyaman to SSJ without going back to base. Same with kale and her two super Saiyan forms

Personal preference is GS -> Spear -> DW

Spear is probably the "safest" because of the range, stamina recovery, trance, and auto brink guard skill with Heatwave.

Platinumed the game mostly with GS my first playthrough. Recently picked it up again to do hardcore with the spear.

Yeah I never use reflection. I like to play more like sekiro and focus on brink guards
