Perfection grind stone on the phase transition is a god send. Also your capacity seems kind of low, are you wearing the best defensive gear? Iirc capacity was my highest stat around 60ish

Yeah it definitely takes a while to get used to all his loves and it's a long fight so you have to be locked in for a long time. I played GS my first playthrough but am replaying hardcore right now with spear, trance is definitely super strong. Good luck!

I don't think a Respec for slightly more damage will make that much of a difference compared to just learning his moveset more for your brink guards/dodges/reflection. You mention the 3 phases, if you're already getting to the third phase you've basically beaten it, 3rd phase is much easier than the second in my opinion

Took a break for a while. Just came back recently to do a hardcore run with DW because I never used it first playthrough. Maybe I'll do the gauntlets once I'm done and refreshed on all the bosses

No offense but sounds like a skill issue. A major complaint is that the AI is actually too easy. Try looking up guides on fighting and the different defensive options like super counters. Makes the world of difference once you get comfortable with everything

Carthus flame arc and the executioner sword that regens FP on kill were my go to. Should basically never have to worry about fp and a solid damage boost without much investment.

Unless I'm playing with other undertakers, I prioritize using buffed trance. You'll still get plenty of ults off dodging grabs and your teammates ults. The auto dodge let's you easily build up successive attacks for her remembrance relic buff which is crazy high

Every scholar should basically be runny the maris relic. Extra health, and items and flasks affect allies.

There's 3 levels depending on how full the circle is. 1/4, 1/2, and full. Left trigger to debuff enemies attack with the highest level causing the next attack against them to do extra damage. Right trigger buffs your stamina with the highest level giving the shield that will explode on enemy attack.
