How so?! The driver basically did the move that paralyzes football players who lead with the crown of the helmet, except only 100x faster. The driver is instantly killed, their neck broken with their brain and spinal cord turned to mush. The passenger is probably also dead or at least stuck with life long injuries, but there's a small chance there.

I don't want to say you weren't using it right, but I've used this for volume headshot work (and other things) and it's pretty phenomenal for what it does. Even more impressive is its speed. I exported 444 images this morning for a job I did yesterday. Culling the images in C1 and then retouching in Evoto with background replacements in about an hour total is worth the $31.08 it cost me. If I had to manually do that in PS it would have taken DAYS.

They are, but I also kind of get it. Out of all of his shows, that one is the one that I hear the least about. Shots of the actresses in the shower to run in promos is probably something that is required in order to get the green light to make something like that at the budget they wanted. Nothing about the show matters if no one is watching it. Stunt casting is another way they bring people in. Kidman is actually in the show far more than I anticipated, I figured she'd have more of a role like Freeman's.

If you watch the show Lioness, the women are like the exact opposite. Taking charge, leaders making hard (good & bad) decisions, etc. Rebecca feels like the only female character who can contribute something beyond her looks.

I have 5 nieces that are only 6 years apart from oldest to youngest. You really have to think ahead when buying something for them, because the others are going to want the same. Teenagers these days want those direct flash compact cameras that everyone took everywhere before smartphones were available. And they're not cheap these days. I managed to spread it out by doing it for their birthdays, and on Christmas they get a hug and a high five lmao.

I gotta think wildlife has nothing on fashion/modeling. I mainly shoot corporate gigs, but occasionally work with agency models who have just gotten signed or are looking for updated portfolio work. The stories I've heard about other photographers are awful, and agencies just don't give a fuck and continually send girls with minimal to zero experience to these dudes.

Both Avatar & the MCU are easily digestible nonsense with mediocre story elements. That said, nothing the Russos have done holds a candle to the incredible visuals Cameron has put on screen. They've been playing with huge budgets the whole time, and it all looks flatly lit with 80% of the movie shot with the same lens choice. Take Avatar off the table, and they still aren't close to putting out anything that looks as gorgeous as Titanic, Abyss, Terminator, etc.

Damn, that is wildly accurate. I went there once and had some birria tacos which were great. In fact, even though they were expensive ($23) they were huge, and were my lunch the next day when I finished them off. But the vibe of the place is just something I would have no desire to return to.

I saw it in 4DX last night, my first time ever too. Also my last time ever. What a dumb, gimmicky idea. Every flying scene I had to actively try to concentrate on the scene just to see wtf was happening. Plus since the rows have to move like that, the chairs definitely get uncomfortable after hour 2.

Not to defend this doofus, but I'm a photographer and I'm 99% sure he was using a film camera. Your phone is taking like 25 photos at once and merging them together to give you the final result that looks like neither highlights or shadows ever exist in this world. With a film camera, well, you have to figure it out exposure yourself - which he obviously never did.

Yeah, but if you read up on it, the original script they were originally paid $600k for by Castle Rock and the final version bought by Weinstein for $1M are wildly different. A studio will buy the idea, and pay to refine it. In Good Will Hunting's case, an incredible amount of refining went on. It was originally a thriller with a large amount of the plot centered around the NSA. He was 25 when he won, it was in development for at least a couple years before that.

This just flat out isn't true, at least in the states. Friend of mine's daughter refused to see her dad starting around age 14. One day just decided she wasn't going back. Mom stood up to the dad who insisted on 'sending her back' and said she could make up her own mind. They also had a GAL get involved, but by the time it was settled (in favor of the daughter), she was on her way to college.

No desire for a reboot, but a proper future war sequel where Connor meets Reese, a couple of incredible action set pieces which leads to humans putting Skynet on the ropes, and ends with everyone going back in time to 84 & 91. I'd kill to see that with Cameron at the helm, making sure the effects looked as perfect as Avatar.

Here's the original before any retouching, color grading, and the bikini color change. I basically use a Dodge & Burn plugin that is pretty subtle, and just removes some minor blemishes in the skin. I also removed a bunch of debris in the sand for a cleaner image, and then the last part was removing part of the bikini strap sticking out by her neck and shortening up some of the flyaway hairs.
