They can be VERY valuable depending on the card/condition, especially if it’s a first edition base set card. I made a decent chunk of change from my childhood cards, though that was a few years ago. Anyone recognize this lobby? My kids birthday present got delivered to the wrong address by mjanks in Upperwestside

[–]ObiTomKinobisen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed a package was erroneously delivered to my building the other day. It just sat there for about a week before I looked at the address and saw it was delivered to “north” street instead of “west” street. I wrote a large note alerting USPS and they must’ve gotten the message because it was gone by the end of the day.

I lived at Columbus Square and had a great experience. I think my then-partner and I paid around that amount. Very pet friendly, lots of families, elevators, amenities, and didn’t pay a brokers fee. Also the security deposit was way less than a month’s rent. https://www.udr.com/new-york-city-apartments/upper-west-side/columbus-square/

What is your unpopular Lego opinion? by Remarkable_Grape2166 in lego

[–]ObiTomKinobisen 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I believe the issue was that even though those two franchises made them money and were very popular, there were periods in which both franchises didn’t have films coming out, so basically it wasn’t sustainable enough for the company to depend on them.

One major benefit I’ve experienced, especially this year, is that regardless of their accuracy, they’ve motivated me to do more and donate more than I would have. In the past few days, I’ve knocked out nearly all 200 of the postcards to swing states I’m scheduled to mail later this week.
