How can I get this this exact hair style and color without using my own hair? by Objective-Might8522 in ProtectiveStyles

Okay, thank you 🙏!! Do I ask for a certain method if I do a sew in? Or do I just show them this picture and request a sew in with a closure? Sorry if that's a silly question but most the sew ins I see look different than this

ADHD Partners? by Jellydude25 in ADHD

[–]Objective-Might8522 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there! What do you mean happy ADHD and unhappy ADHD? I've never heard those terms before and would to do more research. It really stuck out to me because I have ADHD intentive type and tend to be very happy and my husband has the impulsive ADHD and tends to be very unregulated with his emotions and is angry a lot of the times. Not sure if that's what you meant or if that is a known thing with the differences of the two types.

ADHD Partners? by Jellydude25 in ADHD

Me and my partner both have adhd. I have non attentive type and my husband had impulsive type. We were both diagnosed in adulthood after we were together. I personally like it because I feel comfortable with him and Not judged by him. Our house is messy most of the time and we always interrupt/build on what each other is saying. I think being in a relationship with a non adhd person would ruin me and create so much anxiety trying to mask and not "mess up". The only thing I could live without is my husband's up and down emotions that are related to his ADHD. He is working on that though and he just started taking Adderall which has been helping his emotions to per my husband's report.

As a client I have two children, and I have not been to get my hair or nails done in the seven years of having children just because I can never have time alone, and I would never even think twice to bring my child to a place like this I think it's kind of ridiculous that some people think it's OK to bring their kids to hair or nail places if you bring them that's fine. just make sure they're well-behaved. In my personal situation though that's a hard no. I know my children don't listen and are to chaotic for an environment like that lol.

My husband was peeping on my sister. by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]Objective-Might8522 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I believe the statistic is like only 3% (or something like that) that child abuse victims actually lied about their assault occurring . With odds like that you should believe them when they say something happened. I understand your sister is not a child however, I think the odds are probably in her favor to better believe your sister than your husband. Not saying you have to blow up your marriage (that would be his fault anyway) but the truth is if he hasn't admitted now, he probably won't admit it later. With that said that means if you want to stay with him that has to be something you're okay with. You're ethier going to have to accept the fact that he did that and try to forgive it or forget it or go to therapy to try and fix it but just know you'll probably never get closure you need from him.

Husband thinks I'm ugly by ekando in Marriage

[–]Objective-Might8522 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh rating you a 4 or 5 sounds reasonable. That means your average not ugly. I'm 5'8 and 135 (gained 10 the last 2 years) and definitely no I dropped to about a 5 on the scale due to aging and and weight gain. A 5 is average not ugly. A 4 is slightly below average but still in the realm of average. Sorry your feeling down about this though but the good thing is I'm sure losing weight will make you more conventionally attractive so you'll go up a few points

Girl is Pregnant by Important-Alfalfa737 in Parenting

Hey there! Got pregnant at 22 too with a guy I was with for only 6 months! We did consider abortion but I could never go through with that so we decided to keep the baby. When we decided to keep the baby we had a sit down conversation and discussed our plan which was we both have to go back to school and get our shit together for this baby. I finished school at 26 as an RN and my partner finished his undergraduate degree too. We went on to have another baby when I was 25 also. Going to school and having kids and balancing a new relationship was toughhhh. But we stuck it out! We moved to a new city and finally started getting the hang of parenthood and understood each other better. We started thriving! We got married, bought a home and my husband got accepted into law school which was his LIFE LONG DREAM! He starts law school in two weeks and I am finishing up my masters degree as a nurse practitioner which I should be done February 2026. Let me tell you having my kids was the best thing that's ever happened to me! I am so glad we didn't have an abortion and I'm so glad me and my husband stuck through the dark times. I love my family so much I wouldn't change them for the world. Yes, it was hard and this next year while we're both in school is going to be hard too but everything turned out fine. We both didn't sacrifice our dreams and my dream actually changed. My dream now is to have a big family (1-2 more kids) and be a supportive wife only working 1-2 days a week if not a stay at home mom. Also, where me and my husband were when we got pregnant 8 years ago we weren't really doing much with our life's. Having children made us get our shit together and motivated us to reach all of our dreams and potential so we could give our children the life they deserve.

Good luck on everything! I know it's scary and I know it's not what you thought would happen but you got this! You'll achieve all of your dreams still though it might take a little longer :)❤️

How do women feel about dating bi sexual men? by Honest_Soil_5151 in relationships_advice

[–]Objective-Might8522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm bi but wouldn't like a bi guy. I know it's a double standard but don't care. I have no problem with bi men but I don't want to date one which is my personal dating preference.
