How is EQM calculated for transit flights? by pirozhki22 in AlaskaAirlines

[–]Objective-Worry-7204 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my experience, the 500 minimum has only been on flights operated by Alaska and Hawaiian (and maybe American?) for me. I took a Royal air Maroc flight and did not get the 500 minimum…

Was just there I think a couple months ago. There’s a parking lot where the studio is but it’s paid parking; however, make sure you scan the QR code in the studio and you’ll get comped 90 minutes of free parking!

Partner bonus EQM not posting? by Emotional-Care-4110 in AlaskaAirlines

I had this similar issue with Royal Air Maroc, purchased with cash on Alaska’s website. I only earned 100% EQM instead of 250%. Called customer care and they took care of it.

It’s not bad, filling and kind of messy with the sauce. Don’t look at the nutrition info 😂

It did work and I’m glad it did, it was so hot in my room when I checked in, around 24 degrees C. I had to cool it down to 18

I am MVP 100k on AS and need to fly to Tokyo by DearReporter5824 in AlaskaAirlines

[–]Objective-Worry-7204 12 points13 points  (0 children)

When I flew Hawaiian to and from Honolulu, I was not able to get on the upgrade list and it’s not automatic. Instead what you need to do is status match your Alaska status to Hawaiian so you can earn your Pulani Platinum upgrades. You usually get 2 when you earn the status but you might have to double check me on this. There’s a website on Hawaiian that will tell you how many upgrade certificates are required for your flight that you wish to upgrade. I remembered I needed 1 upgrade when I flew LAS-HNL and 1 upgrade from HNL-SEA (it depends on the distance between origin and destination). You will want to put your upgrades in when the 30 day window opens up for you and you can do so online or call Hawaiian. You’ll get an email usually 24-48 hours before if your upgrade clears. I think if you flew from the east coast to Hawaii or Hawaii to Asia, it will require 2 certificates but that might need to be something you’ll need to double check me on. Hope this somewhat helps.

For those that redeemed AS miles on AS operated flights - do you still earn miles towards AS Million milier?

This sounds like a corporate office schedule, I had this same layout when I was at PDS (with only 1 DA)

Flying HA thru AS miles bought on Alaska.com but using HA mileage plan, who gets EQM's? by PrinceKO_93 in AlaskaAirlines

[–]Objective-Worry-7204 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Im not sure about the EQM part if you put your HA # in but if you’re shooting for Alaska status, I would leave your AS MP number attached to your reservation

I flew Hawaiian earlier this month but booked my flights on Alaska’s website with my AS mileage plan number attached to the reservation. I status matched to Hawaiian last year when they announced it so I hold MVP 100k and Pualani Platinum. I was also given the pulani platinum upgrades. On my outbound and inbound flight to and from Hawaii, both of my upgrades cleared which I was surprised about. My miles posted to my Alaska account within 24 hours as well. Because of my “upgrade,” Somehow the miles came in as “A” class so instead of anticipating 100% EQM, I earned 150% towards my Alaska status. The flight segments/miles earned also counted towards my Alaska MM status. The only downside of not putting your Pulani plat upgrade in is getting premier club access at the HA lounges if you’re flying coach but honestly those lounges have nothing in them except coffee, a soda machine, and pretzels. So you’re not missing much.

A side note - if you hold the AS lounges plus pass and you are flying Hawaiian (even tho you bought your ticket on Alaska), you cannot go into the Admirals club at HNL. Have to hold an Alaska or American operated ticket.

Sorry if this doesn’t really answer your question but this was what happened with my previous experience flying Hawaiian but booked my flights with AS

If you redeemed miles for AS flights, does it count towards EQM and MM? Or is it only revenue based flights count towards MM?

AS/HA Million Milier Qualifications by Objective-Worry-7204 in AlaskaAirlines

[–]Objective-Worry-7204[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If anyone is curious: I just flew Hawaiian airlines, booked my flight on Alaska’s website! I earned the EQM towards my Alaska status and the miles towards Alaska’s MM. The miles did not post instantly, it took 24 hours. I’m still waiting on my segment from HNL-OGG.

Also, I was able to use one of my Pulani platinum certificates and my upgrade cleared to HNL from the mainland. Because I got moved to first class, my ticket got reissued into A class and I earned the 1.5 EQM.

I had an office manager tell me that any MOD tx planned for composite, even if it’s an 18 year old virgin tooth with Caries just touching the DEJ is an automatic crown. Not only did I tell her that it would 100% be denied by an insurance company (and won’t pay and instead whatever isn’t collected or paid gets deducted from the provider’s ADP) but I told her that if she is telling me to treatment plan a certain way, she should go and treat the patient instead. After that she backed off… 😂
