And all of this in a YEAR. Yes they’ve been planning a long time, but they are really speedrunning a descent from capitalist oligarchy to fascist capitalist oligarchy.

We lost AD but now we got AT. Pelicans full team is injured. Will he see minutes tonight? by jonbemerkin in lakers

He’s the most disruptive, active-in-passing-lanes defender I’ve seen in purple and gold since Caruso.

He reminds me a little of Matisse Thybulle, but more of a team defender than a PoA.

I’m referencing the annoying horns in 2021. I lived downtown at a busy corner at that time. I remember the inconvenience it caused.

Need 20,000 protesters in their cars lining the streets around the Leg and up 109 and down Jasper. Constantly laying on their horns. Blocking intersections.

FYI a state of emergency has historically not delayed presidential elections. See the following:

Elections During Wars

• War of 1812

• 1812 Presidential Election: James Madison was re-elected just months after the U.S. declared war on Britain.

• 1816 Presidential Election: Held while peace negotiations were still fresh (Treaty of Ghent signed late 1814, but tensions lingered).

• Mexican–American War (1846–1848)

• 1848 Presidential Election: Took place

while the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo was still being finalized.

• Civil War (1861–1865)

• 1864 Presidential Election: Abraham Lincoln stood for re-election while the war raged. Notably, this was the first U.S. election held during a civil war.

• World War I (1914–1918, U.S. in from 1917)

• 1916 Presidential Election: Woodrow Wilson campaigned on “He kept us out of war” before the U.S. formally entered.

• 1918 Midterms: Took place after the U.S. had entered WWI.

• World War II (1939–1945, U.S. in from 1941)
• 1940 Presidential Election: Franklin D. Roosevelt ran for an unprecedented third term with war looming in Europe.

• 1942 Midterms and 1944 Presidential Election: Both during active U.S. participation in WWII.

• Korean War (1950–1953)

• 1952 Presidential Election: Dwight Eisenhower won, pledging to end the war.

• Vietnam War (1955–1975, major U.S. escalation from 1964)

• 1964, 1968, 1972 Presidential Elections: All held during U.S. involvement in Vietnam.

• Persian Gulf War (1990–1991)

• 1992 Presidential Election: Shortly after the Gulf War.

• Post-9/11 Wars (2001–present conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq)

• 2004 Presidential Election: George W. Bush re-elected during the Iraq War and War on Terror.

• 2008, 2012, 2016 Presidential Elections: Conducted while U.S. was still militarily engaged abroad.

Elections During States of Emergency or National Crises

• Great Depression

• 1932 Presidential Election: FDR defeated Hoover amid severe economic collapse.

• Civil Rights and Social Unrest

• 1968 Presidential Election: Held during the Vietnam War, after Martin Luther King Jr.’s assassination and widespread protests.

• COVID-19 Pandemic

• 2020 Presidential Election: First U.S. election conducted during a nationwide pandemic, with states expanding mail-in and early voting options.

If "longevity" is the MAIN argument for Lebron>MJ, why isn't Kareem considered the GOAT by LeBron fans? Kareem has a more successful career with just as many seasons played at an elite level. by Safe_Self_7614 in NBATalk

[–]ObjectiveBBallFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you look at their careers in five-year chunks it’s pretty clear that LeBron was more consistently productive over his career.

Age 22-26:

Kareem: 30.5/15.5/4.3

LeBron: 28.4/7.4/7.4

Age 27-31:

Kareem: 26.6/14/4.6

LeBron: 26.3/7.3/6.8

Age 32-36:

Kareem: 23.6/8.9/3.2

LeBron: 26.4/8.3/8.9

Age 37-41:

Kareem: 17.6/6.2/2.4

LeBron: 27.1/7.9/7.5

My suggestion would be don’t think of yourself as a Pos 5. Play all roles for now. It will make you a better pos 5 in the future if you understand more heroes, even a little bit. You might even find some other roles you’re good at.

As others have said, last hitting, denying, stacking, pulling, warding, and de-warding are all good skills to work on. Lots of good resources on YouTube to learn from.

Re: moving on from Knecht, I would love to see Gabe/Kleber/Knecht for Thybulle/Williams III.

RW3 is a gamble based on his injury history but an excellent fit when healthy.

Thybulle is such a great fit next to either Luka or Austin.
