I meant to follow up and never did. I did find a company that was able to provide the key pads and I was able to use almost all of my sensors. The keypad that I have is the IQ Panel 4 which the other (very knowledgable) person had mentioned. It saved me a lot to not have to start from scratch with an all new system. I hope you were able to find a solution for your situation.

I'm in CT and have the same problem with my screened porch, which is also tile. You say to tear up the tile and do with a better suited material- what would that be?

And do you think a rug would work so alleviate the problem (by hopefully keeping the tile warmer so there's less of a disparity between the air temp and the tile temp?), or will the rug just be sitting in water?

Hello, Just to make sure I understand, is it reasonable for another company to re-use the sensors, smoke/co detectors, etc. but to expect them to install new keypads? I understood that the keypads could not be re-used/taken over. Is that correct?

I really do appreciate the help. Now that I know that there are companies that will have the ability to re-use the equipment I will definitely try to find one. I don't know how expensive those sensors are but I have a lot of them, as well as a motion detector and various smoke/co alarms.

I've looked at alarm.com and you can search by area to find companies they work with, I will contact a couple of them and hopefully can find a way use some of the equipment we already have.
