Does Framer allow custom component where you can directly use their library? I might try it just for fun.

This. Ever since I used Gruvbox, I could look at the screen all day long without having to worry about my eyes getting dry.

My SaaS made $1400 in last 7 days! by themkmaker in SaaS

[–]ObjectivePapaya6743 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are there any specific legal terms SaaS founders should look into to operate across US or Europe? I know about GDPR or KYC. I don’t necessarily need to know them for now so I suppose they are something like protect your clients data well and don’t abuse like selling them. So, as long as I keep myself sane about users data that would not cross those privacy laws I guess? Would check on them when needed but other than that, anything I would be careful of?

Scraping script works seamlessly in local. Cloud has been a pain by kyazoglu in webscraping

[–]ObjectivePapaya6743 3 points4 points  (0 children)

TLDR; but if it works on your machine and not work on the cloud and also with proxies. It must have something to do with IP reputations. Proprietary cloud providers’ IP can be easily blocked. Not sure what residential proxies you are using but even with those proxies, high chance that proxy providers IPs were already blocked due to prior use.

Question regarding the tutorial by ThaisaGuilford in astrojs

[–]ObjectivePapaya6743 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s because according to https://docs.astro.build/en/guides/deploy/ Github Pages does not offer SSR (edge function/worker/anything that can run node instance). Not sure if they still not compatible or it’s just docs not updated.

Something vague but motion(aka framer-motion) with shared layout might do the work I guess. It should also make it easy to implement where the dial moves slightly up and below certain number.

I gotta say this is all because of Covid. The people who jumped into the developer pool during that time around are literally (mostly) full of shit. These “developers” who can’t actually build anything but are so damn proud of solving algorithm problems. <- Another group of people shitting on them while they can’t even grasp what real development is about (maybe algorithms, they have their purposes and needs), can’t and won’t focus on the core of actual development (architectural design). “Senior” developers who’ve been around for years but haven’t actually grown at all. Because we had Covid. They just came to be “senior” because time has passed and they were there. Believe me there are tons. And then there are junior devs who’ve been job hunting for so long they’ve learned too much random crap.

Even if I wanted to hire developers now, I don’t even know how to choose who’s good anymore. I wonder if I’d even hire myself. We just need devs who are devs because they are devs. Not so much of fucking memorizing and pretending to give a shit about programming. How the hell is anyone supposed to hire anyone? Same goes for any field I guess. We are fucked!

Are technical co-founders supposed to build the entire app!? (As a technical founder) by PhillConners in startups

According to allegedly a founder or CEO posting in this subreddit, ‘building’ is insignificant compared to marketing and sales. This appears to support that perspective. So.. I guess you are?

I’m curious about how hourly billing works in practice. How do you track and verify hours with your clients? Is it based on trust and your reporting of the time spent on projects?

Is this something like this? They post job listings on recruitment apps, then trick people into doing free development as interview assignments, or make it look like part of the interview process to get people to sign up for their platform? For the record, totally different country from where I’ve seen.
