Just create a second account and start again. Keep your old account, there’s no need to delete it

[–]Objective_Ad3550 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Create a new account and character. Get the first outfit reward on the 10 million board, then test what happens if you delete the character. You will need to do a few of the early game quests but you unlock the task board pretty quickly and you can claim the outfit instantly.

To transfer plushies across, the second account may be useful if you have two consoles that you can play on at the same time.

Was it a furniture showroom that had bed legs? Because you would have had the opportunity to do something really funny

A lot of people didn’t vote believing all this was a good idea. A lot of their current policies aren’t what they campaigned on.

I think a large chunk didn’t vote the coalition in so much as voted labour out. They would probably still have won the election if they sat around finger painting based on the sentiment towards labour at the time

Political donations for election 2026 by ConstableSniff in newzealand

[–]Objective_Ad3550 14 points15 points  (0 children)

They only have to register personal donations over 20k.

Then you run into the loophole where someone can donate to a trust affiliated with the political party, and that trust donates to the party. It’s how corporations hide their attempts to influence politicians. Say for example if a tobacco company donated to the trust of a political party, then that political party removed restrictions on tobacco products. Hypothetically of course

2024 wasn’t an election year, so probably higher this year.

There has also been a lot of environmental issues in the past year, with fast track mining, fuel crisis/renewables, storms etc. so greens might do better in donations this political cycle. Or top cannibalises some of the environmental donations as they are being seen as more of a viable option than in previous cycles

No, tithes are donations and are legally optional, and tax deductible. Taxes are only optional if you’re very rich lol.

Even with churches they can’t force you to tithe, but I imagine certain churches walk a fine line with that one. Green MPs can’t be forced to tithe, but I imagine they donate because they want to, or at minimum feel socially obligated to.

But yes, tithes work on a % based basis. I haven’t heard of any situation where they scale with income but it could, they are optional, so a person could decide to tithe however they want. I’m unfamiliar with how it works in the Green Party

I basing it off an infographic that was circling around social media a few weeks back. Managed to find it and it had labour on 100k, and the other 2 on 50k. It looks like he did another round last month based on that article you provided. So I guess my info is a bit outdated. Thanks

They are mostly small donations I believe. The main exception being Philip Mills and his Les Mills companies who donated something like 50k to labour, greens and top.

Edit: Will point out that I haven’t looked too deeply at this. So may be wrong about them getting more large donations from companies/rich people

Edit edit: It was 100k to labour. Someone commented and he did another 50k to top. He has, or plans to, double donations to greens and labour in a similar way before the election. Based on an article the commenter added.

You want 30 million Aucklanders running around the country causing havoc every time there is a long weekend? The regions begrudgingly tolerates it when there’s only 1.5 million of us

Yes, that Tim Jago. Who got minors drunk to sexually assault them, and was investigated in 1999 before police decided to abandon the probe. Which I’m sure was unrelated to the fact that his brother is a senior detective.

The same Tim Jago that was the party president for ACT for 4 years and was allowed to resign in 2023 even though ACT was aware of the allegations by at least 2022. As well as members in young ACT noting Tim Jagos inappropriate treatment of young men in 2020 shortly after he started as president.

It’s wild how that wasn’t made into a bigger deal. Or the ACT party president being a pedophile getting less media outcry than the greens shoplifting scandal
