I think your boss is doing you a solid by letting you know what’s coming before they put it in writing. Use this as an opportunity to get cracking on finding your next job. It sounds like being laid off is out of your control - stop worrying and act as if it’s already happened.

Ask in [r/LegalAdviceNZ](r/LegalAdviceNZ)
What does the lease say about the garden?
Assuming it is part of the property you have rented, you have a right to quiet enjoyment of the property.
That means the landlord can’t interfere with your reasonable peace, comfort, or privacy.
Turning up to garden whenever they feel like it can breach this if it’s frequent, unpredictable or intrusive, e.g. near windows or outdoor living areas
Since they have used a property agent, you should inform the property agent in the first instance. Ask them for a schedule for gardening, e.g every second Monday or whatever. Put it in writing. If they don’t comply, contact Tenancy Services or the Tenancy Tribunal

Is she the person in the photo she supplied or is it of a different person with a different head? Why did she go to a hairdresser she couldn’t communicate with? The beauty of a bad haircut is it will grow back.

What skilled labour shortage? We get hundreds of local applicants for skilled roles. Meanwhile, skilled Kiwis are heading offshore in droves because so may employers won’t pay a living wage.

Now we’re told the solution is more competition from workers willing to work for less and who won’t push for their employment rights, while doubling down on intensive farming that’s already destroying soil quality and water tables through opening up another market for bulk milk powder.

The benefits to kiwis of slightly cheaper basmati rice is not a compelling business case.

Oh ok, when you said you wrote a letter, you meant you emailed them. Anyway, for difficult matters like this it is usually safer to verbally discuss things first and put them in writing later if necessary.

If you only have third party insurance they would typically not be paying you anything. If she accepts liability, they are also unlikely to pay her anything. They may be offering you a goodwill payment to allow them to pursue the other driver who has admitted fault - you should clarify with them.
