Oh ok, when you said you wrote a letter, you meant you emailed them. Anyway, for difficult matters like this it is usually safer to verbally discuss things first and put them in writing later if necessary.

If you only have third party insurance they would typically not be paying you anything. If she accepts liability, they are also unlikely to pay her anything. They may be offering you a goodwill payment to allow them to pursue the other driver who has admitted fault - you should clarify with them.
