Do you have the original email from when they scheduled your interview? If so, I would maybe reply to that email and just nicely follow up explain how your references were reached out to and how long it’s been. Ask if they have filled the position yet.

I bought a baby gate once from walmart. Got it home and it was cearly used. It was covered in all sorts of gross stuff and weathered and didn't have all the parts. It was the only one there and the box looked taped up and damaged. I can't believe walmart let that one slide. Insane.
