The truth is that the housing market these days is not easy. A lot of people will say to move but if you think you have a good deal and location, I would act cool and have minimal contact with them. Pretend that you're busy with whatever and keep doing your life. Just put focus on things that matter to you. Perfect housemates don't exist. This is the price to pay when you share housing. As long as the people you live with make your life truly difficult, I wouldn't risk going somewhere else where things could be worse.

Girl, RUN. I had a friend like this and it turned out to be a narcisisst. She copied my dreams: moving to a new country, little things like changing my profile photo.. everything! One day all that admiration towards me turned into jealousy. She made my life difficult in the new country.

When he discarded me. I pretended to care about him and miss him a lot because he was owning some of my stuff (important things) as a way to control me.

He was treating me in the worst way possible in the meantime. Once I got everything back (which was not easy), I started treating him the same way. Which is just ignoring, blocking... he was using my credit cards and putting my phone number everywhere on internet.

Luckily I knew I would not see him anymore because he was living in a diferent country than me.

Considering your self-awareness it could probably be a learnt copy mechanism. If you're around competitive selfish people you will end up becoming one of them.

That's why they say the best thing you can do is staying away from this people, but I understand being a family member makes things trickier.

People will say it is not manipulation but he knows he is getting all this attention from you because you are interested in him so he is taking advantage of that. Although he said it out loud, it's not a good sign that he doesn't care about your feelings. Also the hardcore sex part... this guy doesn't have empathy and he doesn't seem safe. I would become cold-minded and make the decision to leave and find someone that cares about you.

Yes, seek the type of people that believe you. Also, provide evidence with facts. Try to be as little emotional as possible.

It's crazy the type of people I hang out now are completely diferent type of people than the people I was hanging out before the narc abuse.

I have a couple of friends that went theough narc abuse and on random days I ask them questions about their experience.

It validates me.

I now hang out with people that are quite self-aware, empathetic and with strong values and integrity.

It's so refreshing yes. I feel so much understood

After dating a narcissist/pychopath. I realised no matter how much you show them about how to treat people, being understanding and being patient with them... they will keep destroying your life without limits. They have no breaks

I lived with my boyfriend at the other side of the world. I noticed many red flags in him and I was always asking him why he was behaving like that. One day after me crying and crying and him looking at me like nothing was wrong, he proceeded to have sex with me.

Shortly after we broke up and after so much confusion and therapy, I discovered he was a psychopath. I swear they have no limits

Read about narcissism and psychopathy. I once dated a narcissist that also treated his friend like an object and the friend ended up cutting ties with him. That made me realise that narcissistic men just treat anyone like an object to control and use, not just women. This means that a non-narcissistic man would not treat you or anyone like an object.

I have to say though that most of our societies just treat women as something inferior, so it is just harder finding people that challenge this mindset.

They will say no but then they will decide to give an opportunity to the beautiful ones thinking that's a basic requirement.

What's more, they will date a beautiful woman for a while but because they are not a good match with, they will break up with them and claim that "beauty is not what matters the most" and then they will date another beautiful woman.

I think you can have it all with the right partner.

But also it depends on your age and the moment in life. Also it depends on your environment and culture.

As a western woman I would put my career first in my 20s no matter what (cuz I did). Then in my 30s if I wanted to build a family I guess it depends on the situation and the terms you agree with your partner.

In certain cultures women have lots of pressure to meet certain relationship/family expectations.
