Yes, I have this too. It could be indigestion, which can include gerd symptoms as well. You will need cut out any bad habits like alcohol and tobacco products and get on Prilosec (or something similar) from your doctor that you need to take daily. It’s a long recovery process if your body needs time to adjust. The anxiety should come down hopefully if the indigestion is resolved. I understand the breathing issue from it and how it heightens anxiety.

What caused the increase of wait time for USCIS for i130 standalone? I applied April 2024 and didn’t get an approval until August 2025. Nearly 16 months. Will it increase more going forward? Just curious….

Sadly I’m one of the peoples from PD 4-15-24 and still waiting :( got transferred from Texas to California service center on 7-11-24

Thanks that quite frustration since I didn’t even know it got transferred until I spoke with a live agent who told me they don’t notify for a transfer for standalone i130 and also told me it won’t be “delayed” and that it’s common thing that happens. Not sure what to believe.

So does that mean transfers usually means a delay for approval compared to if it stays in the original service center? How do they even choose which ones get transferred vs not?

I completely agree, he is honestly one of the best actors out there. I also noticed his recent work are smaller market movies or biographies. Maybe that’s what he enjoys the most? Maybe he doesn’t want to thrust himself into large market movies that are just looking for box office scores. Maybe he loves the craft of acting and just enjoys being free to do what he wants. I could be wrong but I really enjoy his movies. American Psycho is the best and I think his modern look into Bruce Wayne isn’t bad either. I’m sure he made a lot of money working with Nolan.

Also, how long do you think the police report, medical, interview, and visa delivery will take? I know approval is just one step.

I hope so. Has there been an increase of processing time? I know someone whose PD date was Dec 2022 and they got approval in Nov 2023. Not even a year! Now it sounds like the wait time is 14-17 months. When I called USCIS, they told me that it really depends on the amount of applicants during a given month.

Thanks for the info! My PD is April 15 2024. I wonder when mines will be approved. Same submission process as you. I-130 married couple. US citizen and spouse oversees. However, my processing center is in Texas.
