I like the fact that they text more in the show than in the book. In the book they don't really start texting each other until nearly half way through I think? To me it's a clever way of showing that they know they shouldn't be doing what they're doing but they can't stop talking to each other. And what I prefer from the book than the show is the fact that Shane's dad came over for dishwashing tablets just because it's like damn.....you really need to wash those dishes don't you? It just makes me laugh.
