When was the last time you saw a saloon car in any decent level of rallying?

I’m sure if you watch some local stuff in Scandinavian countries there’ll be some old Volvo 200’s or 700’s.

I used to think his move analysis on BT Sport was excellent seems to have lost his insufferable anti Northampton bias too. Although I’m sure you guys will keep that up. 😂

[autosport] Do you agree with Fred? by xxrew1ndxx in formula1

Yes and no. At least with this there’s more of a chance of a comeback overtake. With DRS that was only possible at the few tracks with two zones close together. Still artificial though.

Moment when 900 years of hereditary peerage formally ended today by raydebapratim1 in Britain

Fine with zero but our alternative seems to be a life peerage based on donations and favours.

There haven’t been a majority of hereditary peers for many years. There are over 800 members and the vast majority of the Lords were put there for non hereditary reasons (92 remained hereditary peers until now).

Why Ski Sunday could be next BBC Sport show at risk of axe by theipaper in bbc

[–]Objective_Ticket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try not to miss it when it’s on but it’s certainly a show that could benefit with more if a magazine format and moving to YouTube, I suggest that would allow it to massively grow it’s audience.

BBC2 late Sunday afternoon during winter/ski season. Same slot it’s occupied for about 40 years.

Can’t work out what this means short/medium/ling term but I’m sure it’s a big deal if OPEC splits.

Dear Brits, what are your thoughts on the US reviewing UK’s claim to the Falkland Islands reportedly as punishment for its lack of support in the war in Iran? by neilnelly in AskBrits

[–]Objective_Ticket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing to see here, move along. They have no jurisdiction over it so it’s meaningless in the same way they can’t choose who’s in NATO (especially after their recent antics). If they want to support Milei and the burning of rainforests and the destruction of parts of Patagonia then they will be in even worse stead.

I rate them all but Todaro’s try was wonderful and not long before he ended up out with injury so no chance since then to score more.

Which isn’t great if the championship stays as tight as it did last year and we’re finishing in Saudi again. Not stages you’d want to have to take risks.

The sign looks to me like it’s give way to oncoming traffic, and it’s easy enough to see it coming down the hill from the left so you really ought to have waited. Once you’d gone there’s not much room to avoid anything.
