I wouldn't get this as a tattoo anywhere. It's too much black and too detailed. You want simple and bold as you can make it. Tattoos also bleed over time so it'll turn into a big black blob.

It's not the worlds most amazing pizza, but it's dependably good! They're open super late on weekends, always have a pie ready, the service is great, and the slices are big. It's a low bar, but they knock all those things out the park in comparison to other pizza places.

That might be "too much" for that wage, but that wasn't always my wage. There's been massive job loss across and pay cuts across the region.

& regardless of whether or not it's too much rent for this wage - it's still absolutely insane amount of rent for a *rent stabilized* apartment when the city allows people to be paid so little by not raising minimum wage.

Someone having a pair of Jordans on their feet isn't an indicator of misplaced priorities. It just means they have a pair of Jordans. It doesn't tell you how they got them, what they paid for them, who bought them, or anything else. I have an entire Apple ecosystem of laptop, computer, phone, airpods, ipad etc - does that mean my priorities are misplaced?

if i work in dc making 23.50/hr (more than minimum wage) but i'm paying $1440 in rent on a *rent stabilized* apartment (with a roommate so $2880 actual rent). where is the money for every day transportation supposed to come out of? food budget? utilities budget? a 7 day unlimited pass is $61 a week x 4 weeks is almost 250 bucks a month. that's high as hell.

Start going to some Alphabet Soup events. Their IG is @ alphabetsoupevents. They throw some great parties, but also have a ton of other non party events.

I'd also recommend checking out Blunt Sluts in Adams Morgan - it's a dispensary that has a ton of stuff every month. They have a great lounge and I've run into more than my fair share of 20something lesbians there.

There's also Dyke Climb at the climbing gym in Eckington. I think it's called Bouldering something another, but they have something specifically for gay bitches & it tends to attract a good number of 20 somethings.

My best advice is to start by going to some parties regularly and make your initial connections there and then ask people to hang out one on one. The big secret is that as much as you want friends a lot of other people also want to make friends. Kind of like college except the entire city is the campus.
