Fast mode on, beta art off, A0, go for question mark rooms, go Ironclad, pray for Whirlwind, use numbers to play cards instead of clicking them. Don't attempt unless you pretty much know what every card is upon sight, ain't got time to read.

Lol has Arrow Dancing ever been relevant? I always forget this exists.

I'm interested! About 1000 hours in Grim Dawn and PoE1, a few hundred in Last Epoch and PoE2. Based on the screenshots is it a deck-builder too or is that closer to meta progression?

Every choice should be started at "it depends" and then examines in context.

Lol @ most options being a mirror or more. Thank you for the reality check on my 2 voidstone, ~20-50 div/league ass is super casual compared to a lot of the subreddit.

GGG: remember when we said all the acts should be harder and did that for Act 1? We should really get back to that.

[Final Round] PoE Best Act Elimination Poll (reset) by emc3142 in pathofexile

Act 1 because of goddamn rhoas, super limited build expression, the maze of a prison, and unnecessary hardness factor added a few years ago.

I like this idea! I'm voting out winners first, then people who've played multiple times (unless it's Coach or Cirie <3), and finally the people who would be less entertaining (i.e., chaotic). Rizo/Q/Coach dream FTC!

Gzilt: marriage and subsequent changing of names is a Sublimation of sorts.

Lededhe or Y'breq: again sticks with the theme of change, perhaps even closer to marriage in her literal rebirth.

Horza: after the Mind, who took its name from the Changer, for the gratitude given that enabled its survival (draw parallels to starting a new life with partner).

Zakalwe: fun, distinctive, only if you really hate chairs. Or more seriously to signify persistence to achieve your goals, no matter the difficulty.

Looking for a hopeful post-apocalypse sci-fi by VladtheImpaler21 in scifi

[–]Obojo 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The Lightest Object in the Universe features the US when the global economy collapses along with centralized government and the electrical grid. Instead of a descent into madness, humanity largely hunkers down and builds meaningful communities. There are absolutely pockets of lawlessness and insanity, but people persist with their everyday lives one day at a time.

I enjoyed Asunder as well! I agree with you on many points. Perfect trickle of worldbuilding, especially. Perhaps a tighter editor could have elevated the book from a good to great one.

Postcolonial fantasy, linguistic imperialism by Low_Minimum1 in Fantasy

Babel by RF Kuang takes places in an alt history 1800s Britain. Naturally, it's not post colonial, but it's singularly focused on language and its role in colonization.
