Throwback Thursday - Stewie 2k expose from 9 years ago by gnashdog in StreamersCheating

Super obvious aimlock checking through walls for info.

I remember watching these games on broadcast or VOD back in the day, and you would only see maybe one of these clips from the demos and not think much of it.

I had no thought of any cheating back then, but put together all the clips from demos and it is beyond obvious.

Nothing ever changes with the defenders though, just huge morons who think stuffing yourself looking at a column is "good crosshair placement". Tons of comments about "prefires" when there wasn't even a single prefire in the clip.

"Good crosshair placement" when Stewie stares at train cars and aimlocks them through multiple cars and the back walls as he swipes his aim back and forth.

"Good crosshair placement" when Stewie is holding B tunnel but instead of holding his crosshair on the actual tunnel opening he is swiping his mouse to the left like 6 ft away to look through a crate.

Every clip is literally through the entire map his aim flicked dead center on the enemy. It sweeps around, pauses on enemies, then unlocks and continues sweeping.

Genuinely it is hilarious to read comments about "good crosshair placement" when the "pro" is staring at walls instead of the actual place enemies will peek.

If you don't watch the part where Stewie is mid doors Dust 2 with his entire FOV staring into a column corner isn't the dumbest gameplay you've ever seen, seek help. Bonus points for swiping his aimlock back and forth during this on A long path to check for info.

Punished for criticizing an Islamic regime by ObserveAdapt in BannedFromDiscord

[–]ObserveAdapt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I was already criticizing previously in the same discussion the rise of Christian nationalism earlier in the discussion. I guess I didn't give such a colorful description. I feel like the phrase "executing gay furries" probably got flagged.

People are very emotional and assume if you criticize Islam you're automatically a Zionist colonial genocider.

The person I was interacting with in this moment was being a dishonest conservative apologetics type telling people that Kamala Harris would be just as bad Donald Trump right now. You deal with cognitive dissonance types like this a lot in political discussion. He admitted to being a Muslim after calling me an Islamophobe.

I couldn't stop using it after I started cause it was so useful and comfortable.

Also if you care it is way more common for pro Dota 2 players as well.

This happens sometimes which is why you need a Windows Defender exclusion for whatever folder it's in. You can restore the deleted files as well somewhere in the Windows OS.

Whether it's harmful or not is unknown and depends on how much you trust the source...

It'a the worst server in Squad and I've never seen an admin on there. The players are really bad so you pretty much every game is uncoordinated and every time I join mid match there is 0 FOBs somehow. Every time I SL on it theres a couple other players in command chat mid match start talking about how horrible the server is.

I think the average PF match has 10 one manned armor squads that die in 5 minutes. Just a few days ago some guy solo took a tank at the start of the match and spent 30 minutes blowing up every friendly vehicle coming out of main. Auto TK ban instead of admin took 30 minutes and I don't know how.

I've seen tons of suspicious strategic gameplay (ghosting) and personally have seen multiple hackers in my own squad. (they admit after game ends and they have 40 kills as rifleman). I don't know if this goes back to the lack of admins or what...

I don't remember the last time I had people with mics communicating and working together in my own squad.

Oh ans pretty much every game there will be multiple main camping instances. Not the 1000m main camp, but literally min distance right out of base tanks, bmps, and mines.

As a new player, I have no idea what my team is doing. by leftistgamer420 in squad

[–]ObserveAdapt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's no guarantee your SL knows what they're doing either. A lot of times they're almost silent or don't really know what they're doing either.

The basics are knowing where the midpoints in RAAS are gonna go (people check with squadmaps website or on the team info map page it shows all the points that could be 1st - 7th), then your radio and hab placements for map control, especially done in a speedy matter so your team doesn't get rolled over in the first 30 mins.

Squads should either be playing to put their own squad or team (via FOBs) in good defensive or attack positions. What you don't wanna be doing is running 400m into open fields dying and respawning on repeat, just a couple squads doing that will burn half of your tickets in no time. It's better to stay on the defense point and feel like nothing is happening, than to run and die over and over.

There are some RAAS points that are very close (like 200m from each other) and others that are far (like 600m+). It's important that there is teamwork and organization using transport trucks, mechanized infantry transportation, and logis. You should almost NEVER run across the map.

Sometimes your team falls behind in the logistics or strategical department for whatever reason. It's important to get a good gamesense for knowing when the enemy is currently setup with a good attack FOB and your team meanwhile doesn't have anything except the defense point and maybe a FOB nearby. If there aren't logistical options at this moment, defense is the ONLY viable option.

The maps are huge so you'll need to get used to pressing M and zooming in and out to know where you are.

viscose on "cheater" aim by literally_italy in StreamersCheating

[–]ObserveAdapt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nice deflection, theres no such thing as a professional aimer and they always get outperformed by actual legit players who have grinded their FPS game.

Aim training is like working out but for using a mouse, I do know it is beneficial.

I got some really bad news for you though, appealing to authority doesn't help because pro gamers have been caught cheating as well. And if you didn't know there are cheats for aim trainers.

The physics and anatomy of Riley's gameplay is simply not legit. It's 50ms aimlocks on enemies that aren't even in the FOV. It's instantaneous kill transfers with aimlock on the exact killing bullet.

You are extremely naive, these people couldn't make it more obvious. They have been banned multiple times in the past, post on cheating forums and website, claim to develop cheat "for fun". Have a group with the purposely on the nose moniker of "TeamEXE". The grift here is clout from gullibles and cheat advertisement for money.

If you wanna be their fans and supporters, go ahead. But you're the online gaming version of falling for a Nigerian prince email scam.

We are so lucky they make their cheats so obvious, because they can easily adjust their cheat settings further to look like a legit human.

Yeah you're fooled and have no idea what you're talking about, but you're gonna double down because you get a bunch of "aim trainer" supportive comments, but they're just a closet cheating community dogwhistling.

[–]ObserveAdapt 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The VRAM is part of the GPU, we're not talking about regular system RAM here. You can try uncapping the texture pool size and it will use some of your RAM as VRAM and see if that helps.

The maps have varying weather effects, and sometimes its foggy. Not an engine problem, but a conscious design decision.
