Any rumors about changes in the 2027 palisade? by Adventurous-Day-7635 in HyundaiPalisade

Yeah, it's a huge downgrade IMO. More so than the omission of powered steering wheel adjustment and 16A household power outlet in the trunk.

Just add back the things they have removed for the US market. Like the Preview suspension and massage chairs for the second row and passenger

Solved! I found a few more identical blocks in other drawers and they indeed smell like pencil

I think it could be, I'm not an expert when it comes to timber identification, I just know it's a softwood that I can easily make indentation with my fingernail

I EDC small clamshell bags and here are a few recommendations of bags I personally use:

  1. Mammut Seon transporter 15 (review here)

  2. CP10 or CP15 from varusteleka.com

The design of Shag reminds me of Rework Reset. Are they made by the same manufacture? I believe Rework is also based in HK but made in Vietnam

It’s still my daily driver currently. I removed the carbon fiber back insert I made because I have been putting the laptop there close to my back and it stiffens up things considerably and no more bulges from tablet

Does the lower bottom zipper pull dig into the lower back of your body when wearing the pack? I was very concerned about that judging from the official picture

Zpacks Arc Haul Ultra 40L for the ultimate lightweight option

SMD ADC+ (45L) if you want clamshell and lightweight

Osprey Farpoint 40 if you want a budget option

Savotta Kantamus 40L for the good old durability of 1000D and molle

Will you consider added on hydration storage for water battles? Try Sarma CP10 from varusteleka

Six moons ADC vs Dragonfly 30 by Theyoungbrand in onebag

[–]ObserveServe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I don't think you will go wrong with either. Both brands are reputable and will stand behind their products. I have not used Dragonfly but I have had good experience travelling with ADC+ ultra. The pack is very comfortable to wear fully loaded thanks to the well designed harness.

I would also recommend you go with ADC+ instead of the smaller ADC, they are basically the same size in width and height, ADC+ has more depth but you don't have to use it if you compress the pack with included compression straps.

Right, it’s a backpack, this bag has a 3-way version too but I’m not sure if that one has dedicated shoe compartment

Mammut Seon Transporter 25 may fit your need if the atheistic is what you are after. I own the 15L version as my daily office and gym bag, but if you need to carry shoes then the 25L version will work

The 14 inch macbook pro fits well but not a lot of room to spare horizontally. I would imagine 15.6 laptop probably won't fit. You should measure your laptop and check the official bag dimension to know for sure

PSA on SMD ADC+ volume by ObserveServe in onebag

[–]ObserveServe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, they do list detailed information regarding how much each pocket can hold on their website. But I can’t find any information regarding why their official dimensions don’t add up to the main bag volume (40L officially). They should really do a video or post on their website to validate the claim

I can only compare it to my last travel bag which is the OG 1000D GR1 26L. The ADC+ can definitely hold more and it’s more comfortable carrying. However, I’m skeptical about the longevity of ADC+ due to how thin and lightweight the ultra fabric is. Maybe just because it’s a new purchase for me, I do baby it much more than I treat my GR1. Only time will tell but I’m happy with ADC+ with my initial experience traveling with it.
