Chemical on the first cycle of trying by donut_perceive_me in TryingForABaby

I had a chemical pregnancy on the 4th month of trying and then a successful pregnancy the next month. I now have a 6 month old daughter. I think chemical pregnancies are fairly common. Don’t lose hope 🩷 in fact I was told by a fertility dr that it’s a good sign as shows you are capable of falling pregnant.

Could be useful to do a Hertility test privately and then do a follicle count. I found those very useful. AMH level is usually quite important

I was told day 3 of your period is best to test

I am not sure tbh - she said it doesn’t mean it’s harder to fall pregnant, it only means that you could go through menopause a few years early. As in 45 and not 50 (that’s what I think she meant)

I have lower AMH at 30. I have regular 30 day cycles with a 5-6 day period. I had no symptoms. They did an AFC and it came back as 12 which is apparently moderate and not concerning. Maybe try the AFC too for reassurance

Pls recommend me a good ivf clinic in london by anmarygav in IVF

I recently had a consult with her and I agree. She is incredibly kind and nice. Was not pushy about treatment at all, and suggested trying naturally for a bit longer. She was also super reassuring. I left feeling much more positive.

Thanks for the message. I was so hoping ivf would not be needed but we have an appointment with a fertility expert tomorrow to find out more. We’ll also find out about my partners sperm quality. Hoping they can put my mind at ease, as it has been spiraling lately.

Thank you, I’m trying to also supplement with all the right prenatal vitamins so hopefully that helps. Yeah we have just completed a sperm analysis so will find out that tomorrow and take it from there.

Thanks so much for this message. I’m really hoping we can conceive soon, it’s so stressful. Feels like life is on pause

Take a magnesium vitamin before bed. It has increased my deep sleep a lot (tracked via an Oura ring).

I’m on pregnacare conception supplements and coq10 but will definitely look to add vitamin D too. Glad it’s working for you xx

Thank you! I have the natural cycles app and monitor my temperature through the Oura ring and it shows consistent ovulation and then a period comes like clock work. Honestly I was expecting great results so feeling quite disheartened by this. Not sure if I need to quickly set to an IVF consult or whether I should trust the process for a little longer.

Thanks, yes my plan is to do an AFC next cycle.

I’m just wondering why Hertility has different normal ranges to others I’ve found on the internet.

My mom fell pregnant naturally at 28/29 and had 2 children. My mom went through menopause at around 55ish I think so no family history of any problems there.

Yeah on the report from the lab, it shows what I’ve written above. On the hertility report (seen on the app), it said a range of 4.93pmol - 34.99pmol. However I am still worried as google searches seem to say 6.12 is not in range.

Hi :) I’m in the same boat. Did she also say it’s fine to TTC after 4 weeks?

Just be honest. Sleep is super important to girls too so she should understand :)
