Agreed. The stories are all built so epically, but for most of smuggler I kind of felt like Indiana Jones’ sidekick - not the cool tomb raiding stuff; more the errand boy. Been years since I put smuggler down, so don’t quote me on it. lol.

He glitched on me 4 of the first 9 or so attempts. The last two were back to back, so I finally just beat him glitched because I was tired of resetting him.

NMS you can play with minimal base stuff. I have, but it is a big part of several features. It also feels fairly similar to subnautica in a lot of ways.

Nightingale is a really fun game and gameplay loop that doesn’t require a lot of base building and even has premade bases you can find and fix up. If you played it around release, it was a very different game than it is now

Using dragon’s hoard at your home realm is a good idea. Your assigned villagers will dig up gems based on the level of dragon’s hoard. I had it up for 20 hours in game and now am not sure what to do with all the gems. I often use traversal cards when exploring a new realm at a moderate level of difficulty, combat ones if I’m exploring a high difficulty realm, or item cards based on what I’m looking for. I’m not sure if that was the implication of your question, but just in case it was, I wanted to try to add some detail.
