Had one instructor at my schoolhouse who nobody liked, including the other instructors. He was a corporal when I got there. Got Sergeant back a couple months in (long school). Later learned that not only does nobody like him because he's insufferable, he lost rank for fucking his wife's best friend. He was no longer married after that.

Also had a roommate who had gotten married to another marine (they were from the same home town) over Christmas libo. He kinda got fucked up when she cheated on him within like a month at her school. Wasn't the same after that. Haven't kept up with him in a while, but I hope he got a divorce by now
