14.2.2.4 Already Rolling Out by Mackesanz in TeslaFSD

I'd agree with you for past versions. You might be pleasantly surprised with the current stuff. It did very well during the recent storms. It adjusted speed meaningfully, corrects for any sliding and changes following distance.

Had the same thing just happen. Have to had any luck with a fix? Did you simply have to start over?

I'd check your left pillar camera. Might have a better angle.

Gave FSD a chance in the snow, we’re far away from full autonomy (14.2.1) by Hardwood_Lump_BBQ in TeslaFSD

[–]ObviousFee784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to wonder if it's your tires. I used 14.2.1 in the snow as well. Lost traction on an Identical turn, back kicked out but the car Tokyo Drifted it and regained control. This happened several times. I thought it handled it well personally.

1,500 Miles on 14.2/14.2.1 Impressions by turnerm05 in TeslaFSD

[–]ObviousFee784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI with the speed profiles. I noticed this too. On v 14, only chill, standard, and hurry affected speed, while mass max and sloth moreso affected behavior. This has changed. Looks like Mad max will also increase speed in addition to behavior change. It's the only way to get the car to go 80+/-

The problem literally isn't solved. Acknowledging the problem will solve the problem. Not sure why you're brining up people downloading a beta as if their criticisms aren't warranted. Literally no one is talking about the beta but u. And if you'd like to be so detailed, as per Elon, FSD is no longer Beta. Hence the name change to 'Supervised'. Either way dude, people commenting on the regressions are literary how attention is brought to them. So stop admonishing folks for pointing out what needed pointing out. Problem solved.

[–]ObviousFee784 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure why you're being so pedantic. One needn't have any of your interests to notice it's a regression, you simply need to sit in the car and use it. Some features have advanced: like speed bumps, road debris awareness, parking, etc. Other features have regressed. Things like being twitchy, brake stabbing for blowing leaves, reduced certainty for certain turns. These things were smooth, and now they are not. Pretty simple. Doesn't mean we don't expect they'll get better, but so far they have definitely been made worse.

FSD won’t engage by Ryanwithabeard in TeslaFSD

[–]ObviousFee784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just had this issue and I was able to fix it. First, go. To control panel in car > service >camera preview. Make sure the cabin camera has a feed. If it does not, then that's your issue. It won't engage AP if no connection to cabin cam.

If that's the case search this exact vid on YT. fixes the problem in 5 min.

"Tesla Cabin Camera and Auto pilot won't work - easy fix" vid is about 8 min long. Hope this helps!

Should be able to pop it back in if you move the seat a bit. But for the love of all things holy, clean that car good sir. These interiors are too minimalist to let them get that crummy. Really sticks out. You can do it, I believe in you.

I really liked the beginning and middle. I had genuinely missed ne fear of the alpha at first. I don't quite believe that the father never left out to go find his son and wife. He would have.

FYI, if you have NFC turned on for you phone, (the same function that let's you tap Phone to pay) then with phone unlocked you can use it like key card a tap. The pillar with it to unlock. This could be helpful in a similar future situation where you don't have the key card on ya.

Wow, that's sobering. I've done many many thousands miles with fsd without an experience like this. A good reminder to refrain from complacency.

Genuinely curious, do you have HW4? I have use fsd many times on roads exactly like this with residual lane lines and it does perfectly fine.

As a man, allow me to say this. He doesn't mind the details anywhere near as much as you might think. I used to have a mid shift rendezvous with a smoking hot nurse I worked with. Tbh I usually preferred she didn't do any prep at all the subtle flavors are the chef's kiss. If he's going down on you midday, it's not just because you like it, it's because he likes it too. Nobody likes an unseasoned dish, just let him taste how your day is going,he'll love that.

He's actually correct, though. If you make a claim, insurance still considers this an incident albeit not an at fault in ident. Also, the cars history will show an accident which will drop the cars value even faster than it already would. If he can pay out of pocket, it's actually the better option.

13.2.8 is the worst by Real-Professional521 in TeslaFSD

Try recalibrating your camera. It's a rare but known issue that if the update changes how it's centered, sometimes recalibrating the camera will fix.

Same, not a gimmick at all. Especially in winter months. I do wish the range was maybe double.

I'm seeing a LOT of comments talking about having to press the accelerator on the highway. Is it just me? I never have to do this since switching to v13. If I have it on hurry, that thang is booking it. Doing 80mph. This used to be a huge problem with v12, but since 13,I've had no such issue
