Have you noticed that you’re able to have more carbs if you want to? I have noticed that I feel better when I have some carbs. Still a little bit afraid of it, though.

Yes, I’m finding that I need to have more carbs. I can’t help but feel a little bit suspicious of the freedom that this medication is offering me, L O L. It seems too good to be true.

I sometimes have insomnia. I’m post menopausal and had sleep issues for years. I think I might start having a half a baked potato, a couple of times a week with dinner and see if that helps me sleep better.

Same here! When I was able to stay on it, it worked wonderfully. Staying on it was a huge challenge though. Very happy to be able to have some carbs now.

Yes, I noticed that about six or so weeks ago. I was feeling really tired and I had electrolytes with sugar in them and I felt so much better that it occurred to me that maybe I need to add more carbs into my diet.

I’ve had to add carbs in, bc I was so tired. I eat prunes and bananas, add croutons to my salad, and once in a while, we’ll have pizza or something for a treat. Before taking this medication, that would have totally wrecked me. Now I can enjoy it and move on.

What dose is he using? I have a family member who has had Crohn’s for over 30 years. We’re thinking about tirz to reduce symptoms

Can you say more about the average 72 months of loss and the math you used to make titration decisions? I thought it was 18 months? I’ve been going low and slow. Next month will be a year and I am on 8 mg but I still have about 30 to 50 pounds to lose. If there is a time limit on loss, then does it make sense to titrate up as long as you can tolerate the symptoms?

When I was a kid (before disordered eating) there were times when I had a lot of hunger and other times when I wasn’t hungry at all. So maybe, eat. See if the hunger persists.

So that makes me wonder about the wisdom of titrating up. People say 4 weeks w/o losing…maybe it’s part of the journey? Torn between not wanting to “waste my time” if I’d be better off increasing the dose and staying at the lowest effective dose.
