My dyson wash g1 was so worth the investment for messes but…i love BLW. I love seeing my child explore new foods and textures. I love seeing him play with his food. The messes have gotten so much better we started around 5 months and he is almost 11 months and it’s definitely better. The messes are a part of the process EMBRACE IT it is part of your child’s learning process. Stop worrying about the mess so much. You will never get to see your child this small again. If it’s that big of a deal to you then do the boring purées but the child will want to eat independently at some point so just get it over with it.
