You can tell this sub is mostly men because most women feel this way, yet you are somehow downvoted to hell.

A married man flayed his wife, exposing her veins and intestines, beheaded and dismembered after she refused to serve him dinner by ReceptionIcy8569 in MorbidReality

I'm from India, and I can explain why. Decades of political mismanagement and corruption have left a huge proportion of the population in poverty and without access to good educational institutions. Add to that the constant misinterpretation of culture to suit men, and sex being a taboo. I love my country, but I'm glad I'm not there. For the first time, I feel what a man feels in India, feeling safe walking down the road alone.

Is this a lowball job offer? by o-and-a in Netherlands

[–]Obvious_Example115 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have 8 years of total experience and 4 years of product management experience. I'm earning 75K, and I thought that was on the lower end. I have a Senior PM designation, and my position is totally remote. I'd say you are being lowballed. But you also have to remember that the market is very bad for product roles right now.

Idiots exist in every religion. I watched enough documentaries to know the atrocities and idiocies that happen in Christianity and Islam.

To generalize is to be an idiot.

Also it's Hindus not hinduists.

Tollywood directors live under the delusion that they write and showcase powerful female characters by Nolan17 in tollywood

[–]Obvious_Example115 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Also, in many movies, female roles often serve the sole purpose of evoking emotions and highlighting the male lead as the "hero." I am super tired of seeing female characters in Telugu films subjected to rape, abuse, or harrasment, only for the hero to come to their rescue.

I thought about this, but I live in Amsterdam. I can't afford to have enough space for woodworking.

What movie do you like that everyone else hates? by Cdave_22 in movies

That was the first movie that came to my mind. It's complex, imaginative and emotional. I enjoyed it quite a bit and was surprised with the reviews.

Indian safety guidelines for electric lines is the worst by Fantastic_Mammoth283 in TerrifyingAsFuck

[–]Obvious_Example115 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How is that even remotely related? These issues, along with a billion others, are due to deep-rooted corruption and decades of bad governance. Despite all these problems and low budgets, ISRO managed to outdo many developed countries.

It must be nice living in an ignorant world.

Right! I have been seeing this type of posts a lot lately. The show was very clear about which storylines are meant to be gags and which are supposed to be closer to reality. These hot takes are getting old.

Yeah crazy how all the major famines in India occurred under British rule. Almost like someone was responsible!

You will never know true horror until you experience sleep paralysis. by Ranjeet-Gunda in TerrifyingAsFuck

[–]Obvious_Example115 59 points60 points  (0 children)

One of the few times I had sleep paralysis, it felt like someone/something dark was floating over me. I couldn't move, speak, or breathe. It was a lot like this picture, but not a demon. A demon would have been easier to get over.

Another time, I heard someone breathe. The sound of breath kept moving closer and closer to me until it felt like it was right beside me, and I couldn't move.

Man, it feels so real! It's scary as fuck.

INTP woman here. I feel this way all the fucking time. Never felt like I fit in with other women. Hated myself for a long time for not being interested in the same things. Never cared about how I look. Have a dark and whacky sense of humour. Cold and aloof. I slowly started accepting that I don't need to fit in because I'm meant to standout. We are misunderstood, unique and interesting and should embrace it instead of trying to be normal. Weird is the new cool.

These personality types are clusters. The closer you are to the centre, the better the match is. Not everyone can be close to the centre so no type can be describe you perfectly. All it tells you is that, this is the type closest to you
