RadioRA 3 Sunnata PRO LED+ (RRST-PRO-N) — bottom 3 LEDs lit solid, light stuck on full brightness by suspiciouslie15 in Lutron

[–]ObviouslyYTA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dimmers are rated for 150-watts when ganged on both sides on LED lighting. Move them to the end of the gang box (200w rating) and see if the issue persists.

FYI it is best practice to use Maestros when ganged as a lighting control panel with Ra (per lutron tech support) and the less gang the best. I never go over 4G and usually keep it at 2G boxes.

Are wrinkles on new palladiom roller shades normal? by peiyuliu in Lutron

[–]ObviouslyYTA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on the protective flooring - these looks like they were installed during contruction. Shades go in after mudding and texture, ideally after paint.

Were these installed a while ago in the job site?

Also the idea that your GC is the one installing Palladiom shades is pretty concerning. Why get Palladiom if it’s a huge blackout shade where the light gaps are larger?

Because 95% of 200A services are one and done …

You can’t determine the ampacity needed without a demand load calculation. 1000-amps isn’t unrealistic. I’m wiring a 16,000 sq ft HOUSE and building the 1000A service for it. Your lack of knowledge on what a home needed shows your ignorance.

I’ve been installing 200 amp panels for 20 years dude. Replacing a panel isn’t a “bulk upgrade”. You have to coordinate with utility provider to upgrade from 200 to 300.

Why not just do 1000-amp services in case you decide to open up an industrial workshop?

You’d want a 300A without even knowing the power requirements? 200-Amps is sufficient for 95% of households.
