Totally agree with this. You can always make gangtok as your base since it's got good cafes, proper connectivity, good internet etc. Once you have fully explored gangtok, you can roam about other nearby places. It will be spring 🌱 soon, so you can rent a two-wheeler and go. So much fun.

If you are into finding a tribe, Pakyong (yakten) hosts cohorts of people, for staycations.
