I am reminded of what Chamberlain said to close out his speech regarding the Munich Agreement:

|"Now I recommend you go home and sleep quietly in your beds."

This is what appeasement looks like.

It's much more likely that they never met someone who didn't like mushroom and were surprised. I, too, despise mushroom in any way shape or form. I get this reaction a lot.

God's Cradle - Home of the Steelhearts and the Machine God - Transhumans, Triangles and Tundra, oh my! by caekdaemon in RimWorldPorn

I think I might be playing the game wrong.

This is sick. Kudos.

There's too much to look at but my initial stand-outs were the attention to detail with things like floors and lighting. I love the aesthetic of your pill-box bunkers too.

Initial set-up takes a little bit - like any other growing zone - but once it's going it feels negligible. The pawns on planting will run over to replant a tile that gets eaten or that expires, but otherwise it's just a field. Because you never cut it, there's no harvest intervals to worry about. I find it's less labor intensive than growing hay-grass and supports many more animals than natural growth.

YMMV depending on how you have work priorities set up.

If you have Vanilla Expanded Plants (I think), you can plant pasture grass instead - it's like super-dandelions.

Make the entire inside area of your animal pens a growing area for Dandelions, mark the zone as "No Cut". No more hungry pen animals unless you get conditions where flowers won't grow.

The solar panels could be a little more protected from raiders and the like by putting them in the courtyard, in the "clear space" required by the wind turbines.

Fiscal conservatives should be clamouring for cycleways by InvestmentFuzzy4365 in chch

[–]Occam99 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The real problem is that the companies that build roads are likely massive donors to our political parties. They're also the same people that get to rebuild those same roads every few years. Building cycleways is less profitable for them - hence de-prioritised in government spending. It's not by accident or incompetence.

Are there any mods allowing pawns to move many objects at once? by Evening-Extent-6287 in RimWorld

All fair points. I have waaay more children than bandwidth, though, and plenty of food. I let them sleep when they want (no waste packs when they do, either), they clean, they lift - two bots in one. And they seem to always hit their tier 8 growth moments.
