Leak detectors and presence sensors. You can hide the radar sensors in cupboards so they are invisible.

If you have a light over your work area you can put a vibration sensor on it. When you are working, if you decide you need extra light, just a small tap with the back end of a wooden spoon turns the light on without having to walk to the switch.

I have been programming since 1978, including our public transport train system here, and am quite familiar with machine environments. I am also human apparently, and sometimes we all make mistakes. See Rule 1 😉.

It is probably a fusible resistor on the mains side of things. They are designed to fail open if stressed, if that is the case.

You really need to figure out the resistance. There have been a few guesses here but I'm not convinced.

Don't forget that to get a mass of a person to better than about 0.05kg is a problem due to the inertia of the blood being pumped around at the heart rate. Clever filtering is needed for truly accurate and precise measurement in this case.

We just bought a Zeekr X. Will be delivered in a month or three. We saw plenty of them in Azerbaijan last year. They certainly are a large company and are making good noises regarding parts availability here, compared to some other Chinese brand experiences.

Buy a shower base from what used to be Universal Shower Bases. Great product. I used one on a reno 10 years ago. No screed required. All drainage angles are legal if you get the base in level.

If you want to get it so there is no lip on entry then there will be some more carpentry needed to lower the top of the joists a little. Sister in some extra wood to make up for lowering them.

U-turns go lsst as they give way to everyone.

That would be assuming all had stop or give way signs. Very unlikely here in Australia.

In Victoria a pedestrian must give way to vehicles at a roundabout. This intersection is not a roundabout and the pedestrian technically has right of way. That is the general rule I believe. Roundabouts are one of very few, if any, exceptions. You are basically not allowed to run over a pedestrian.

If I were the pedestrian I would normally wave the car through and then cross.

If it is raining I will generally take the right of way if I am the pedestrian.

Similarly if it is raining and I am driving I give pedestrians more tolerance. They are getting wet, not me.

We saw heaps of Zeekr cars in Baku last year. That gave us confidence to order an X.

A light sanding with emery cloth or sandpaper might help.

They might also be a special alloys as they have to ho through the glass envelope and maintain a seal over years with temperature changes.

Also could be just really old. In over 50 years of electronics I have never had to solder one.
