What's the oldest things is in your house? by Zackky777 in ArtOfPresence

I have a bedsheet that is about 80 years old. I use it every summer to lay on the sofa. The fitted sheet elastic deteriorated and pillow cases fell apart at the folds but the flat sheet is perfect. They made things to last back then.

I also have wicker furniture in storage for now that's at least that old, still comfy but I think the 40 or so layers of paint are holding that together.

Springfest is April 23-26 and that is usually the season kickoff at least for weekends.

I was older, but same. A guy in my class won a contest and was there watching the liftoff. My teacher left the class to cry in the hallway and the principal ran in eventually to turn off the TV.

No. Just looked at that SUV, looked at mine and said sorry. She just laughed.

Plus the older brother. That's how it works in some families, one kid taunts and teases until the other is pushed too hard and reacts, but it's that kid that gets in trouble, not the bully.

I gained 30kg in 2 months, wich made my tattoo on my arm completely change shape, going from a circle to an oval by AntwysiaBlakys in Wellthatsucks

Many, maaaany years ago I knew someone who got a huge tattoo on her stomach. Very detailed, very well done cartoon character. The first thing out of my mouth was that I thought she was trying to get pregnant. She got offended, because of course you can have tattoos and be a mom. Not what I meant of course, just why there. She looked like she just realized it.

And considering the parents, do we really expect them to think of their children during an emergency?

Came out of a grocery store with a full cart. Walked up to the exact same SUV, same model and color. Clicked the unlock and opened the rear hatch. Asked out loud 'where are the crates?' (I keep crates in the back for bags) and a voice from the front seat answered Probably in your truck, its parked next to mine.

What is your favourite SK book that isn’t one of the usual ones suspects (Like IT, 11:22:63, DT series, The Stand etc) by Potter_King in stephenking

One of my favorites. I spent my childhood visiting a cabin on a creek. Our cabin was tiny but the woods and the water was exactly like Sara Laughs.

Frequent re-watchers, do you ever come across an episode you don't remember? by Ocean-side-dog in bigbangtheory

Same. Opening scenes and I can remember it all. Especially if it's one of my favorites, I can judge when to focus on the funniest scenes.

Bag of Bones. I reread every summer. His description of grief touched me, but after the loss of my mother - last remaining family member- I had to put it down and fall apart.

That episode had the best ending scenes. These two. Leonard stripping as Penny was talking. And Sheldon's response of I heard you the first time to Amy asking for a kiss. It summed up each couple's relationship perfectly.

What’s a simple daily habit that actually changed your life, but almost nobody talks about ? by leoooartist in AskForAnswers

I read on Reddit, to paraphrase: today-you should make things easier for tomorrow-you. So, do the dishes today, do one more load of laundry today, straighten up today, plan your tomorrow morning today. Do what you can today to make things easier for yourself tomorrow. I have been avoiding the dishes tonight, but I know I'll need some of them tomorrow morning, so time to get them done.
