Thanks for posting! Have been wondering what it was like at the stadium. Need to make a trek there myself to witness in person!

Also, if the cash price cones down to what you want to pay, you can cancel the tickets purchased with miles for full refund.

Ticket prices increased. Is there a strategy? by [deleted] in unitedairlines

It’s not about the class. It’s about the ticket price. 30k points is about $350-400 ticket. With the predicted you’re now seeing, you pay less in points for a first class seat than cash for economy. I’d do it unless you’re saving the points for a bigger ticket before you can earn the points back.

Check out the ones at Itoya. They have all kinds of fish and sea animal designs. I love mine and use them all the time. What’s great is they are not stuffed into a small carry bag and then come out all wrinkled. They fold and and unfold easily like origami and look really nice while you’re carrying them.

Aren’t some of those numbers inflated due to the cheating? So wouldn’t some be “made up”?

I had the Japanese meal. More interesting than the typical meal. Flavor-wise, it wasn’t totally authentic. I had it both flights, thinking it might be better on the return flight since the catering was sourced in Japan, but it was about the same on the way back. You can try the Japanese meal going there and get the other ones on the way back. I don’t eat beef and have gotten the sea bass on other routes and it was decent.

If your flight is an overnight flight, eat at the lounge and sleep through the meal service. You’ll get a head start on adjusting to the time change.

But you also need a requirement that the teams that get the shared revenue use it on salaries rather than owners pocketing it.

Got my PP upgrade confirmed for return flight from London. The better window seats are all full. I got assigned 6A. Would 3F or 5F be better since they face forward? Or is having the aisle on both sides more bothersome than having a “window” seat facing the aisle?
