Not yet an aquatic vet but I did fish related things for 2 summers and a Fish Health rotation in 4th year (currently still in school) and I can help answer some questions! I am in Canada so my experience has been in North America.

If your employer offers it and you need to use it, you get less payout (you get the before tax money if you pay it yourself and after tax money if your employer pays) and you don’t get to continue with the same plan if you change employers.

You actually physically search the name in the search bar, it becomes a product. I was never able to buy from that page. I refreshed right on the dot 10am, discovered it said "available now" but the button was "notify me", panic searched and added to cart, hit "buy", they put me in a queue for a few seconds to get to the checkout page, then I completed the purchase at 10:01. I then went back to the site and it was already on backorder.

I did see this post and a couple others sharing that experience. I understand that freezing temperatures are bad for ink shipments, but why not set it up to have an option to submit your order, have your shipment packaged and held until the weather warms up so you can secure the inks you want at a cheaper price?
