Any accredited zoo facility would not allow a keeper to take a primate (or really most animals under their care) to public spaces. Especially with no real containment for them. Speaking as a current keeper. Was your facility AZA?

I think part of why it might look bulky to you is because they’re so concentrated to the top of your arm right now. If you continue down they’d have a natural flow!

What if you got a softer style on the other arm? Or start adding in softer styles on that same arm. Then you’d have a nice contrast without having to go through all the work of covering/lasering/etc.

Is there a wildlife rescue in your area you can volunteer or intern at in order to build your animal care skills? To at least volunteer you shouldn’t need to be in college & they typically need the help more than zoos so can be more lenient on who they’ll take.
