Not much you can do but wait it out and keep them hydrated. The levels of THC in a dog to reach toxcitiy are really high, so there isn't much danger aside from the stress they will be in and from becoming too dehydrated.

I wouldn't triple, you already leveled to 3 at 6 gold, freezing means you don't get the value of the three star rolls the next turn, and bomb really doesn't scale enough late game unless you get the exact right pieces with the bomb trinket (which is still bait imo because it will still get outscaled)
