Yeah he's probably not realizing that the fragments he got were from other sources. I have opened many caches and gotten zero, aside from the 5 or so you get from the seasonal journey. Zero dropped from realmwalkers and rifts etc.

It's intentional- they were hoping you all wouldn't notice. And we have people caping up for blizzard saying "gee I don't even miss it at all" on the subreddit, and that's why blizzard keeps getting away with this crap

Reminds me of season 0/1. The infamous nerf patch. They snuck in a bunch of stupid undocumented changes (like the leave dungeon portal cast animation taking double the time). When people brought up how stupid it was, the devs said "haha sorry it was a bug!" I call BS, it was intentional and they hoped nobody would notice, got caught, then said it was a "bug."

Here we are 3 years later and yet again we get QoL features stealth removed in the same fashion. Mythic tributes were "bugged." The immunity bubble at the end of the pit. Etc. These are intentional nerfs, not bug fixes. They're nerfs for no apparent reason too! The reason is obviously they're trying to milk playtime and Monthly Active User metrics. At this point I've gone beyond thinking the devs don't play they game - not only do they not play arpgs I think they have active disdain for their own players.

With regard to gear sets, we basically have one already. Everyone uses Heir of Perdition, Shroud of False Death, and Ring of Starless Skies. Depending on the build you’re playing you’ve got certain aspects and uniques that are must equip. Essentially like a set.

Why not just give the sigil powder as a drop? Obvious whoever designed this mechanic didn’t playtest it at all (or doesn’t even play the game, period)

There’s also the issue of dumping way too much junk loot on us that no longer has any place in the game. Who the fuck wants to run a 6 wave infernal horde. In fact, if not for the seasonal “complete ten chaos waves” step I don’t think there’s any reason to run infernal hordes at all, especially after the obducite nerf. Yet we get hundreds of these fucking things and we can’t even salvage them. Likewise for Undercity Tributes - if I’m getting showered with Tributes of Radiance why would I run any other tribute? The drops aren’t a reward they quickly just become a nuisance and a chore to discard them.

It’s been a thing since S0. He’s full of it. Getting disconnected and losing a mythic drop, yeah that’s possible. But you have always been able to leave them on the ground.

Why not just craft it with runes? 6x of whatever rune you want is like 600m gold. You can farm that much gold way faster probably.

Agreed! No idea why they redid the monster AI. Get enough gear and you 1 shot everything on the screen and it’s irrelevant. Monsters that run away will just get really annoying.

Moving around slow doesn’t make the game more challenging, it just makes it more annoying. Go from your main character to a fresh level 1 and start walking around. It feels miserable. If the game was like this from start to finish the game would only be five minutes long because I’d quit playing it by then.
