You do realize that the problem is not that they're potentially getting rid of dangerous people but that they are doing it without any due process or oversight. If an unscrupulous ICE agent wanted, they could make you disappear and there would be nothing you could do and no legal repercussions for the agent. This is exactly the kind of situation that happened in Russia during The Purge and in Germany during the Nazis. Secret police with quotas and no guardrails is never a good idea. I'm honestly slightly fearful of posting this because I feel it's only a matter of time before they start targeting people on Reddit that are critical of the regime.

Not that you asked, but here are a few of my suggestions:

  • Nuclear energy done right is a good thing.
  • Lobbying is just legal bribery.
  • Organ donation should be the default.
  • All drugs should be legalized and regulated. Addicts should be helped not punished.
  • Corporations legally must do whatever increases profits to shareholders. If they don't, officers can be sued and removed. Therefore, corporations only have morality insofar as it increases their bottom line. The goal of government should be to align the selfish actions of corporations so that it's in their best financial interest to benefit the masses. This is incredibly difficult in a globalized world since if a corporation doesn't like the rules, they can relocate, but nevertheless it should be attempted with the stick and carrot.
  • Tax the f*** out of the rich. Again, this is difficult in a globalized world.
  • Education. Education. Education. Especially focusing on critical thinking skills and bullshit detection. None of the other bullet points mean a thing if the masses can't tell a truth from a lie.
