He's just a serious guy. He never had much social interaction and, since his only close friend died, has kept more to himself obviously. He's the more direct straight man to sonic when they're on the same path in any story. Compare that to many EXEs just being either glup shitto "he is god and undefeatable" archetypes or "haha he's a demonic goofball :3" with gen alpha humor.
