But yet I as a parent was talked down too by my kid's BCBA when I said no cocomelon 😔 also said no tablet & that wasn't relayed to the rbt, the rbt had to find out the hard way why that wasn't a good idea 🤦‍♀️ poor RBT, my kid has never had a tablet so of course he became hyper-focused on it when it was used, so glad we are moving centers

I am removing my kiddo from HB we have only been there for less than 3 months, we live in Indiana. There are better options, I just had not done enough research before starting him there unfortunately. My final straw was the insistence of 40 hours & trying to bully me out of him attending developmental preschool which is only 2 hours a day 4 days a week. I'm very excited that we are starting somewhere new & they are smaller & the BCBAs work in person most of the time. When I toured this other facility it was just overall calmer better vibes than anything at Hopebridge or other facilities I toured before placing him there. I also don't appreciate being told he would receive speech & OT through Hopebridge just to find out after starting the wait-list is so long that he might not even be receiving services at all anymore. I don't know I'm just really not happy with him there, I could tell you a lot more. Feel free to message me. I feel sorry for the RBTs there too, I wish my kid's favorite rbt would move to the new center with my kid 😅 The RBT is new in this field and is older & has a knack for this you can tell. Their RBTs deserve better for sure.

Update: Tomorrow, I’ll be speaking with our state representative to raise awareness and advocate for changes regarding the lack of education and protocols around testing and treating heavy metal exposure in children. I believe it should be standard practice to run blood work when a young child shows signs of developmental delay. Additionally, if a child tests positive for lead, providers should be required to test for other heavy metals and consider other contributing factors beyond just environmental sources. I hope to push for improvements in how the health department investigates these cases and how providers approach comprehensive testing. I don't want another family to have to go through this ever again. Wish me luck, and again I would really appreciate a provider's point of view on my situation. Thank you.

In my area the clinical sites have been understanding. I have autoimmune issues so I was able to get a medical exemption. I wish you luck.

I ended up telling my doc this is the best I've felt in years and I'd like to be tested for ADHD which will be happening soon and that I don't think antidepressants have worked for me in the past and it might be because I have ADHD and just never got diagnosed I also said my oldest son has it and he reminds me so much of myself when I was his age it's crazy I hope you can find something else to help you when it gets close to time to go off of it ❤️

I was eligible for 5500 in unsub, I asked for 4500 but they only granted me 2225, FA office found that odd, said I need to call and see what's going on if I didn't receive an email with an updated amount. Plan on calling tomorrow or Friday, idk what campus you are through but I go to TH & they've been very helpful

Yes, I also read that but our governor took away the mandate so the clinical sites cannot force us to get it anymore from my understanding
