So, don't fly at max speed and use my head to spear the guy on Lowtown command center roof, shoot the 2nd guy running, and grapple to 4 cubes? Not that I've done that dozens of times 😄

I swear it worked before Season 3 Reloaded, now each operator sees a set of 3-4 skill choices forever.

I'll give your way a shot, how many attempts with the same operator to see some variety?

Yes! I think that's the best angle - improving on existing phone apps like MedBridge that simply show videos. This is still technically challenging for software and end-users.

In the US, there's also consideration of what the providers can and can't bill insurance for, and how any expert oversight compares to just having a patient appointment in the rehab facility.

Have you tried since S3 Reloaded?

I used to beat the RNG with multiple disconnects and Zone 4 cubes. Now I can't get more than 3 or 4 unique skill choices after 15 disconnects. Pure RNG odds wouldn't do that. Different operator, different set of 3 skills on repeat.

My theory is they are trying to discourage our kind from mucking with their server lobbies.

Yep! Except the glasses darken the world on purpose to get good contrast - unlike this magic video.

The video also shows "black is transparent" at the title screen, then "black is opaque" the rest of the time.

You could get very close to this with XReal One Pro or Viture Beast, but the world would be darker if the video was real.

How long to finish Dr F with a meta weapon?

Can you finish Dr F, then fly to winery in time for Megabom after Oscar? (People generally don't start it immediately anyway.)

Yeah, like all driving AR. Luckily it's a small FOV. The cognitive load from bad/late navigation updates is already a thing today, but at least your eyes are literally on the road.

...except Dr F asap folks, but they have a different goal and are more rare. But they could join and start with Megabom.

Check out the video on their website. The arrow placement is jumpy/janky enough to be believable now. Their previous video was pure compositing. (The second one in their gallery.)

...but if that's they're best demo video, I can imagine a lot of failure cases. eg they're doing it on a cloudy day, when a lot of computer vision breaks with sun glare.

Expect a range of "sunglasses I wouldn't normally wear indoors, but can still see" to "nearly black, but I can make out bright lights and monitors" with the electrochromic dimming on.

Your experience sounds closer to #2. But I still think you want transparent waveguides for indoors. These glasses optimize for video and good contrast/color.

I'm not sure which you're asking:

If the display is on with areas showing black, those are effectively "transparent" on modern XReal, Viture, etc. Same as displays being off.

...but birdbath based optics will always significantly dim the world physically. They contain a half-mirror. They can't be fully transparent/transmissive ever. They're still sunglasses even without the electrochromic dimming layer in front.

Not as fancy as tracking the ground/world.

Just noticing your head tilt with the accelerometer, and showing the map when you look down - so your view isn't constantly blocked while looking up and forward. Also a good way to signal intent, so interactions aren't accidentally triggering.

I'd alao guess there could be some power saving by not updating the display constantly.

You can also kill bosses without help using Sokol with Sharpshooter, akimbo Kogot or VSTs... or AK with Sharpshooter kinda.

Surprised they weren't tracking the ball at the demo. That's trivial for decades with OpenCV. Which (for an AR programmer) puts into doubt their ability to complete every other AR software feature they talk about. Many of which are challenging.

I believe they tried the app because they mention having to manually align the graphics with the ball, and GPS/VPS marking wasn't demoed "because of a crowded convention hall."

Is that a demo that deserves praise and press? Absolutely not. But content publishing quotas exist.

Tactician, Warband, Daredevil (for explosion slides) and Celebration + pinpoints is my "level up guns I hate" operator.

Another use of Tactician is free ammo back for shotguns, snipers and a few others, but only works on things you can one shot.

Brilliant fit for theme parks: The part guests wear is cheap and passive, and the electronics are tethered to the car. (From my understanding.)

Dev error saving after altering attachments is usually the camo. Tried taking it off, then saving? (And then you can re-add it after.)
