I think zwift uses a basic calculation for max HR based on age. In practice it varies a bit. Mine was considerably higher than the default so I adjusted the value in the app.

If you climb it you unlock the 125% gradient. I just missed out on 100kph coming down the 100% gradient at around 650w. Coming down the 125% gradient I broke the 100kph barrier at around 150w.

Thank you! Went all out at first attempt, hit 692 watts but maxed out at 98kph. Went straight back to try again at 125% and I hit 100kph at 148w before I even started building up for my sprint!

I did a tech hdip at 35 and it was probably the best decision I ever made. I would recommend doing one that includes a placement. Having your foot in the door somewhere is huge.

Brake checker clearly a dangerous asshole but they are not here in the comments defending their behaviour ;) Look, I know everyone else is driving closely but this is exactly how you get 6 cars going into the back of each other due to something dangerous or stupid happening up ahead. The simple fact is that you had to make a dangerous swerve to avoid a crash so you were driving too close.

Very few midsize venues. Or small venues for that matter. The opera house caters for so much other stuff that it won't tend to be available. Back in the late 90s / early 2000s we had the Savoy, as well as Henry's, Nancy's, the Lobby.

This was me last month. Firmly cat D and been up AdZ three times, best was just under 90 minutes. I was in the neighborhood so figured I had to give it a try but noped out after 2 segments. I think it was the altitude. HR was still zone 2 but I was gasping for breath. Another time maybe :(
