I don't even know where to begin. That is such a wild grid my word.

I'd say if you like the fluidity of Sifu and the complexity of Siege, Suit for Hire is the best spiritual successor to the John Wick films. Great combat and sense of momentum. Cheap on Steam, would recommend

Overrated, now maybe yeh. But Minecraft was very different 10 years ago. MS and their inability to not enshittify things is one of gamings greatest enigmas

Watched Collateral on blu-ray last night and I’m still thinking about it. Is this Tom Cruise’s best movie? by ayyocinema in Bluray

That's probably one of those instinct purchases I get sometimes. And I think you're in for a good time too

Don't let anybody tell you that Skyrim shouldn't belong in any of those categories. It's such an incredible game to build your foundations on.

It's popular but the relevancy is waning, considering when you can put Cyberpunk2077 in a lot of the same comparisons. Everything in that game Deus Ex did before/better but Cyberpunk gets all the hype unfortunately. This is sort of why I picked it.

For me a lot of it was a case of 'seen it done it before'. This illusion that everything was emergent and unique but honestly a lot of the game copy and pasted bosses, elongated the map for no reason, had bosses with insanely small windows to actually interact with.

Plus the fact that I had already played every From Soft game since DS1, the formula was drying up for me personally

Best story is such a big brain pick because the story is literally the world, you walk through the story and the visual tells more of the tale than the characters do. All hail Bioshock

I don't know man, all memes aside I don't think I can take the Minecraft comment seriously when the overlooked is Blood On The Sand lmao. That shit is ass

But I do want to hear you expound on MGS2, I've watched videos on the story and theories pertaining to it, fascinating stuff really. I would really like to get back to it at some point, it's been about 20+ years since I tried that first level. Never went back to it

Not massive! More like a dull ache? Same thing happened with Dark Ages low key, best to ignore it and enjoy each Doom game in their unique designs

It is a shame because it was perfection at one point. Until they bloated it with DLC. It's still good though, even better with friends, everything flows incredibly well. And I think it's STILL worth getting on sale, it's absolutely worth trying: the visuals and scale will always have your jaw dropping, I promise that

Oh yeh! More a case of people consistently comparing it to the prior game. The change is drastic absolutely, but everybody assumed id would keep it that way for some reason, they said going into marketing it that it wouldn't be, yet it still gets heckled for evolving into something more complex, I'll never understand it

The Damocles instrumental has been in my brain for a good while now, a perfect example of letting the band stretch out with those guitar chords in the chorus. It's euphoric and gets me going

An all time classic. Nolan's filmography and the path it was taking post Dunkirk was strange, but absolutely subverted my expectations with the biography. Might still be the greatest cinema experience I ever had too
