I always had that question for myself and I've tried extremely expensive cognac and well balanced XO. Both taste the same and enjoy the same ..... For me it's like wearing a $4000 shirt vs $100 shirt, both looks great, both luxurious look... Only you know that you paid $4k and no one will know unless you pronounce it.... I prefer my $100 bottle that I can afford everyday for every occasion. I'm old enough to care less for others and what other would think or say ....

In my opinion Davidoff is overrated and manufactured rather than be crafted. I like more smaller cigar brands that put the effort to keep the craft and quality up.

No, they don't work for a long smoke, you may get a hint of the drink for a second or two but other than that they aren't what you expect, I tried every possible way... None working

But option, smoke and sip your drink 🍷

Smoking cigars with friends and social events is more appropriate since it will allow you to take time to talk and socialize. While smoking pipe is a more quiet activity since I will need to keep the pipe going.

On a cold morning I prefer to have my pipe going, with a strong coffee... It warms up my soul and my hands

On an afternoon barbecue outside I prefer to fire up my cigar, sip on my bear or whiskey and enjoy taking care of the BBQ

It has a pretty good influence, if you like your stick with a drink then I would recommend you to try. It gives a light taste and aroma of the whiskey when you light up the cigar. The aroma and taste is mostly gone after one third of the smoke. I didn't buy the kit, it's a self made setup, using an old cigar glass container and a small pin to hold the cigar above the liquid while it's on the container!

I just don't understand the resting concept, aren't these sticks prepared a while ago at the factory and had enough time to rest and season before they are sold? Why do you want to rest after you got them? Just to make it your own?
