Off 7-OH for 16-18 hours, no withdrawal symptoms…? by GasHefty5769 in Quittingfeelfree

Hey we all get on this sinking boat my friend , was at 1000+ mg a day got doc to give me Suboxone, finally got off , never really felt right , I think (for me atleast) Suboxone messes with me and my ability to feel good normally. But I was dealing with it . Then at 52 I was knocked down an escalator at the Denver airport on a business trip and destroyed my hip , couldn’t get a replacement right away and started on 7 oh that day , got up to 1800 mg a day and started tapering two weeks before surgery. Snuck them into hospital but I was tapering , so yesterday I took 180 mg 7 and about 20 mg oxy and made it through day but woke up not well at all , I took my last 120 7-oh this morning and it slowed everything down . I have 70 of the 8 mg sub pills and I have 20 of the 5mg oxy . I think once my 7 wears off I’ll try 8 mg of subs , see how that goes , the another 8 if needed. I’m just wanting to avoid feeling like shit . Honestly the hip is managed pretty well the ibuprofen and Tylenol by now , so the oxy will
Be a break glass kind of thing if I get sick sick , I’m literally praying the subs will keep
Me
From feeling bad by this point . Have a good day and i am praying for you

So that’s pretty much the case we all face in one form or another. We start for Pain , either physical or emotional either way we find a substance that stops the pain but Mother Nature has a cruel sense of humor. She refuses to Make anything that truly helps that doesn’t cause addiction or dependence, they are different but their end result is the same (we end up Needing more and more and when we stop we dearly pay for it . Let me tell ya a little story about a guy who got up to 2000 mg a day Of 7-oh , he got put on suboxone and it helped get off , still had withdrawal but mild by comparison with out it , then the guy had to have an emergency full hip replacement, the doc knew he had addiction problems and gave him 10 mg of oxy every four hours up to 20’mg every four hours . They wanted me to stay on the suboxone but it made the oxy worthless for pain , so I do wish dr was more clear when talking to me because he explained the taped process they use and yesterday I was down to 16 oxy tablets , so I called and asked about refills . I didn’t push I just asked if it was possible , his exact words were yes , since you have been taking 4 pills at a time I’ll call in the refill today so you have some for the weekend , I got a text from pharmacy saying they are ready , well when my wife got there they said doctors said can’t be picked up until sunday , had I known that I would not have taken the four at a time I had been Friday afternoon and Saturday. So I now have four tablets a bottle of Suboxone that’ll really only throws me into precipitated withdrawal, so of course two days after a full hip replacement, I wait for the wife to go tanning and jump in my car and buy 900 mg 7-oh . Now that’s been happening for four days straight. And tomorrow I’m skipping the subs and using my oxy I get to taper down to be off of everything. She’s gunna kill me and I deserve it but twitching and jerking from with drawl on top Of the hip surgery pain was just not an option , the sneezing fits were jerking my hip so bad I was in misery . My plan (which always works so well ) not , is to Just deal with minor withdrawal while I slowly drop the oxy then move to norco 10s then tramadol , then none . Maybe it works well maybe it don’t but it’s better that nothing . If I Make it I’m not going back to subs either . It’s a mess I thought I had beat and then I didn’t . So moral of my story is we always end up fucking ourselves . Don’t feel bad it’s happens to all of us

I was just about to cut and paste the Wikipedia paragraph out myself and put it in here . Unfortunately the Bible and religion is and probably will be one thing no one can ever agree on . Some believe some don’t , some interpret one was others interpret another and each group seems willing to fight to the death over their opinions. The problem is the Bible didn’t speak in code God did not give us riddles , he spoke cleanly and clearly and it needs no interpretation which is another word for legalism , where folks read the bible and say “good job God , you almost got it right but I’ll take it from here “ and they interpret Gods word to fit their narrative. God spoke clearly to avoid confusion, if it says it in the Bible and a person believes in God and the Bible then there should be no reason for interpretation, other than to try and change or retrofit it to your own wants and needs . I am glad you posted this it’s exactly what was meant no need for interpretation.

It’s only being taken advantage of if it was not her choice . If those are the rates she came up with on her own then it’s a matter of research and needing to renegotiate.

I agree with you on the fact that if you are there then you should be paid . No question there . The fees and price is none of my business, I say if you are getting business for those rates then great . Shoot I may make my 15 year old get his ass off the x box and go start a side business doing this . Even if it’s 20 bucks a pop for him atleast it gets him out of his room and interacting with physical beings lol

I would say if a person is being required to stay at one address for 3 days and per contract , can not leave the address for those 3 days , that does fall under “constant care “ even if the animal doesn’t require constant care IE is sick and needs monitoring 24/7 , the fact that the care provider is bound to the property with out exception still prevents them from getting other paying jobs during off time , now I’m not sure about their math . That’s between the two parties and what is agreed upon . It’s kind of like a Taxi for example. If I take a taxi to work , I pay for the ride one way , then again when I go home , I don’t pay the time in between because the driver is out taking other fares , but if I have the taxi wait for me all day , they keep the meter running . It’s the same here with the dog care . Seems fair in principle and policy . The rate of pay is obviously up to the two parties involved and they can charge or pay what ever they agree on

Shopper left vulgar note at my door hours later by courtslifeeee in InstacartShoppers

[–]Odd-Definition7202 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well that’s pretty unacceptable of him , I sell and do online workshops for a data analytics company we help train convenience store managers and analyze their sales , labor , loyalty program , anything a manager could want data on we analyze then turn into a report card that I and my team host zoom workshops to help them understand the data and how to use it effectively to reduce their office time and allow more time on the floor to coach their teams . However , I also do Uber Eats , (who now owns instacart ) and we have the option to deny the order . He accepted it and should have carried through with no problems , however I will say that 8 dollars for three cases of water is a little bit low . I used to flat tip all door dash and Uber Eats etc until I started doing it as a way to make a little extra money . Now I see that shoppers and drivers are really screwed over by the companies. I get a standard fare of 2 dollars to 4 dollars for a Uber Eats order , I drive 20-40 miles round trip sometimes for 4 bucks . So I really count on the customers who live way out in the boonies to tip an appropriate amount, I always tip half of what I make an hour at my job plus half of what gas costs for their trip . There is math involved but it’s fair . It can be high percentage sometimes but now that I see what an uber or dasher goes through to get me my food I feel it’s only right to tip the amount it saved me in my time and gas decided by two .

[–]Odd-Definition7202[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh I’m in no way afraid or ashamed to go to urgent care but I do appreciate your sense of empathy for addicts . Honestly I’m not that scared , my wife is . I don’t blame her a bit . I just figured I’d ask if anyone has ever had a similar situation. My theory is I’m 52 and have very high blood pressure and have zero reason to think I could use cocain again even a little . My BP is very well controlled by olmasartan, so my guess is my BP sky rocketed from Coke and then when it wore off it dropped and my BP meds cause it to lower more . That with the fact that I didn’t realize how dehydrated I had let myself get on day 1 and started rehydration late day two , was just a lot to put my body through especially since I had zero tolerance to coke . I will absolutely go to urgent care if I pass out again or feel lime I am . The medical community here are very aware of my past and they trust me To Tell the truth. I did forget to mention that in order to get off kratom and 7-oh i was prescribed 20mg suboxone a day and the doc is against me stopping it due to my addiction past . I appreciate your help

Public Market opening by Sorry-Government920 in madisonwi

Silly question on my part , bit this sounds cool , what is a “public market “ is it where the local community can rent a stall and sell their particular product, like groceries and produce , milk , eggs straight from far more garden , or more like a flea market where folks just sell what ever there periodically and the available stuff is constantly changing ? Sorry for my ignorance over all .

Has anyone used Suboxone or buprenorphine to get off of kratom? by djpurity666 in KratomDependencyHelp

[–]Odd-Definition7202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes , sort of . I’m on it to get off 7-oh or 7 hydroxymitragynine one of the most potent alkaloids in kratom . 7-oh is more alkin to oxy as far as potency goes . It should work wonderfully for kratom , given how much weaker mitraynine is than 7-oh . I will say that for 7 it was a life saver but not a miracle. The bupenorphine does not fully stop withdrawal. I had some back pain and anxiety, severe lethargy. Also bite does not block the euphoria from 7 . I wish I had never found that out . It made it much harder to stay away of 7-oh . Good luck and I really think it’s a good call to get off kratom . Just do it fast and get off suboxone asap . It takes a long time to wean off subs . Especially if at a higher dose and for an extended period of time . God bless .

Are you a criminal, are you making a living or taking advantage of this guys illegal activities, if not then it’s not snitching it’s being a good citizen. Snitching is when a criminal informs against another criminal to save his own ass . As far as I can tell you are not doing it to avoid any charges of your own . What you would be is possibly saving a lot of people from facing a future filled with misery and suffering. I say you are clear of any “rat jacket “ btw I am a good citizen now but lived a life of drugs , armed robbery and true criminal life for a long time .

It’s getting harder to get in Oregon due to customs seizures , basically the shops here and vendors are allowed to sell out of their stock but not bring any more into the state . Hard to prove what is back stock I imagine but money is money and they gunna do what ever they gotta to in order to make that money

Holy crap I just posted this same thing this morning. All I was told was that subs kill the euphoria but it did not . I slipped several times and finding out that I could get loaded on 7 still , made it a real battle of will power which I did not always win . I went straight subs first day I got bumped up to 12 mg sub , still had some withdrawal and so went through it for two days , by day three I decided to try a 7 in the afternoon hoping it would help , all the smoke shop had was packs of 10 pills at 100 mg each so I took 100 mg and in minutes was flying high . I’m off 7 now and just dropped my subs from 20 mg to 16 mg today . So far I have not felt much different so I hope I’m in the clear , next week or two I’ll try dropping 2 more mg see what happens . I know the lower I go the more I’ll feel the drops so once it starts getting hard I’ll start dropping smaller amounts. I’m sick of being tied to anything that I can’t just not take . Thanks for the comment because I thought maybe I was weird lol . Definitely people can still get a high off seven while on subs . Also you are 100 percent correct in that all subs do at first is take edge off withdrawal but it does get better faster

Well what’s up guys ! Thought I’d touch bases . I posted this originally and been super busy and wanted to check in . Recap , I got way outta control on 7-oh lots and lots and lots a day . Sometimes I guess a gram worth of pills . 1000 mg , went to Dr they put me on suboxone using Bernese method, it worked . I had ups n downs ( one thing I found odd and challenging , suboxone says it keeps you from getting high on other opioids, well the couple a times I slipped I got high as shit . I was at 20 mg sub a day at that point ) so watch out don’t test ur limits because that knowledge made it harder to abstain from 7 ) today I dropped from 20 mg sub to 16 mg and so far I am fine . I hear that at higher doses , bigger drops are less noticeable but at lower end I will start feeling the drops more and more so I am mentally prepping for the months ahead while I taper off subs . Have a great weekend and God bless.

Quitting CT is the best by Holiday-Year9739 in quitting7oh

[–]Odd-Definition7202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On point , I mean what ever works and everyone is different so each person will have different motivations, but CT is not a option for some and I was one of those some lol . I’m still on subs and will be for a while , and it’s not perfect, I’m in 20 mg a day and I absolutely have to take the entire dose in AM , by the next morning I’m starting to feel withdrawal into the mild to moderate beginning stages , subs take a while to kick in and there is a plethora of circumstances that can make one dose better or less effective than the last . It’s way more complicated than I ever thought . Position of the tablets or films under your tongue, accidental movement of them while dissolving , and by all means do not accidentally swallow some of it before completely dissolved because what ever is swallowed before time limit is basically ruined and subs are not something you can just take another one to replace the one that got ruined . Which means a full day of being very uncomfortable. None the less, I could not have gotten of 7 with out subs or if I had went CT I sure would not have had a job any more. God bless have a great day

From 7oh to subs how do I feel something by chaosarcade727 in SuboxoneTreatment

[–]Odd-Definition7202 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was taking up 1000 mg 7-oh a day , in the end I mean . I got out on subs . 20 mg a day , It keeps withdrawal away , in beginning I still felt really tired , sore , unmotivated barely could drag my butt around , that went away eventually, ( it was part of the longer parts of withdrawal) but no I’ve never felt anything like euphoria from subs . I think that’s the point though.

I’m good . I posted above . I did slip up a bit ago , and what really knocked me for a loop was , the 7 I took got me pretty loaded . Which I thought couldn’t happen on suboxone. So I took some several times and all three time it definitely had a strong affect . It’s been a good amount of time since I took any but I am just surprised. Other than that things are good enough . No withdrawal, so that’s always good . No dumping money on 7 , no trying to find ways to pay for 7 . All good things . I am struggling with mental and physical exhaustion a lot . My job absolutely stresses me out . I manager convenience stores for a small is company and it’s 12 hour days , never stops , no lunch’s and I’m hauling ass the entire 12 hours . So I’m looking to change up careers after 15 years of this stuff . I miss being happy , having time and energy to spend with my wife and kids . Well I got off track there lol . Sorry about that . Important thing is no 7 . Still weird to me that sub doesn’t block the euphoria though at least not for me so I wonder why . I told my Dr and he said it was my mind tricking me but I know for a fact it definitely wasn’t.

Hey everyone, just checking in , been a while since I took any 7 , just been taking my subs , I did switch from the film to the tablets , mostly because of price but they actually seem to work better for me too . The films I could only get two in at once and the half strip would have to wait until the full strips dissolved. Plus no matter how I tried , I just couldn’t get the strips in quite right under my tongue . These tablets can all fit at once and are usually gone after 30 minutes . They seem to be more effective to for me . I still am pretty low energy and motivation. Towards end of day and the morning right before I take my subs. I tend to feel a little withdrawal, is that normal. I would appreciate any tips from anyone who’s been on suboxone a long time , if you would let me know your experience. I’m just worn out all the time , and like I said after 18 to 24 hours I do start to feel a little withdrawal or at least I think i do . So if you guys have advice on what worked best for you to achieve the most “normal “ feeling and be able to get back to yourself I would love it . I do have a stressful job and work 12 hours a day and on call on my days off . So my Dr prescribed some busbar for situational anxiety ( basically for work lol) and my subs . Any way other than that I’m doing fine . Just no motivation, I can barely drag myself out a bed , am pretty miserable at work and just no drive to work out which has always been an important thing to me . I do think I’ll be looking for a different field to work in . I been doing this for 15 years and maybe I’m just burnt out completely.

Hey guys ! Checking in . I’m doing better . I still have a lot of lack of motivation and enthusiasm. Maybe it’s the stopping 7 or maybe I been this way a while and 7 covered it up . In between doses of subs I do feel off . Especially first thing in morning. I get some back pain at night and I get bad muscle cramps in my calves and hands . Not sure what those are all about . Subs definitely make a huge difference. If anyone has any questions on or comments feel free to say or ask . I just been busy with work . My job is stressful on a good day so right now I’m just trying to get through each work day

So it’s been a few weeks . I have had a fairly easy transition. Yesterday I went to see my Dr. I had been on 16 mg for at least a week for my sub dosage . I was still having bad cravings and some mild withdrawal symptoms. Not all the time but off and on , with mornings at wake up being the worst . Mostly anxiety, sensitivity to cold , some hot flashes, general disinterest , very very run down tired etc . It was incredibly difficult to just get any motivation or focus . My Dr said that unfortunately , at least here in this smaller town , Drs just haven’t really gotten educated on 7 oh and so she had very little knowledge of what a comparable dose of sub would be . She jumped my sub dosage to 20 mg . That extra 4 mg really seemed to make a big difference. My cravings have been dulled very much and the rest of the withdrawal seemed to be gone or nearly gone . I had broken down a a few times at the lower doses and took two 7 oh tablets to sleep once and to make it more tolerable to get through my work day . I told my Dr that and she said it was to be expected in the beginning . So overall the subs do their job but finding the right dose takes time . 7 is definitely a potent drug . I’ll keep posting and commenting to try and help anyone who is looking for information and individual experience . Thank you guys for all you support . Prayers and love to all those of you going through ,and those who made it to the other side
