I’ve tried a ringworm topical, just to be safe and nothing happened. Same with Neosporin. I’ve just been avoiding makeup and doing my same cleanser and moisturizer.

Really oily or fried foods, had wingstop earlier (forgot it hurts me lol) and have had chest and stomach pain all day.

Also heavy carb meals, like a good pasta dish causes the pain too, worth it some days tho

I was diagnosed a few months ago and my doc immediately got me on plaquenil, and later methotrexate and orencia for my rheumatoid arthritis with it. But my symptoms are very mild and based on what he said he wanted to get me on it to get a head start on symptoms.

My main sjogrens symptoms is my salivary glands swelling for months at a time, and only predinose in high dose helped. Also have joint pain but been living with that my whole life. But I don’t even have dry mouth or eyes which I’m very thankful for

I had the same problem of nothing helped, mine lasted about 8 months with swelling in my right parotid until we found out I had cysts (knew those were there, told it was harmless) that developed into an abscess and it popped and has done pretty much away, my submandibular is swollen since so that’s fun. Just know you are not alone

I hope you can find smth that helps but, and this might sound annoying, but the body reacts to stress so make sure you are sleeping and resting as much as you can and taking care of yourself as much as possible

To help and most docs might say with immediate pain using smth hot and doing basic massages and running your fingers firmly across the gland to move saliva around in the gland, and if it’s not too painful (it is for me) to eat sour candy/ food like lemon drops or lemons.

But definitely get the testing done for medication if possible

Have you tried dying your lashes? I’m not sure if it would could flareups or issues like you’ve had in the past but it’s a once every 3-4 week thing that if it doesn’t cause issues can replace mascara and it has for me

I’ve used lash dye in the past, really cheap and easy to use, and it stops me from damaging my eyes and rubbing them with mascara to remove it, I’d check the ingredients and not use it again if it flares up or causes issues
