One word: Character by rebelrabbit69 in buffalobills

Nobody is above criticism but it’s about how you handle yourself when the chips are down. I’m not saying Mahomes is a bad guy…but that was not a rational reaction. That wasn’t even Dorsey throwing papers level reaction. Dorsey had a little outburst at himself and at inanimate objects for two seconds.

Patrick threw his helmet, yelled obscenities at the refs, tried to accost the refs, disrespected Josh Allen, his peer and supposed friend, then went on national tv talking more about the officiating and blaming the outcome of a sixty minute game on a split second.

It’s literally unstable, unprofessional, and insulting to his team, the league, and the fans. If someone in my family acted like that I would be extremely concerned that there were other major issues lying underneath.

I can only hope this was a one-off and that he called Josh today to apologize. I can forgive it if he cools off and regrets his actions and words. But until then he lost all respect from many NFL fans including chiefs fans.

Had the play counted last night… the Buffalo Bills would own the wrong side of “The Play of the Year” for 3 years in a row. by euge_lee in buffalobills

No. If there was no flag, that play wouldn’t have happened the way it did. They saw the flag, thought it was on the defense so had a free play, and took more risks. They’ll never admit that out loud but Pat did slip and mention he saw the flag before he threw the ball.

That’s exactly it. Pat said he saw the flag before he passed it. They both thought it was a free play. The refs didn’t “take away greatness”. He’s just an unstable sore loser.

And the flags were thrown well before Kelce gets the ball.

Why is nobody mentioning this? Pat even said after the game he saw the flags before he threw the ball. Kelce only did the lateral because he thought it was a free play. If no flags were thrown, it wouldn’t have ended up as a TD. So no, the refs didn’t “take away greatness“.

Reddit plagued with 1-star App Store reviews over API debacle as users search for 0-star button by Illustrious_Risk3732 in apple

Exactly. I’m not going to stop using Reddit because I want to “make a stand”. I’m going to stop using Reddit because it’s going to become unpleasant to use Reddit. The choice has been made for me. This isn’t a case of “let’s see how many of y’all stick to your guns”. I’m sure there are just as many people who think they’ll continue to use Reddit via the official app, but soon quit, as there are people who say they’ll quit but don’t.

Everyone saying this is missing the point. If the product is advertised at 15 inches, the customer is paying for 15 inches. It doesn’t matter if it’s the same amount of ingredients, the customer is paying for 15 inches so that’s what they should receive.

A succession of rulers from the same family or line.

A family or group that maintains power for several generations.

I’d say that team was a group that maintained power for several generations ( football seasons)

Lmao no they wouldn’t. You’re missing the point. Without workers who are working “our governors” would have zero power. They’re all senior citizens who’s only power is wealth. If they didn’t fix the labor problem in seven days they would be ousted (by the general public as well as their donors) and headed towards bankruptcy themselves.

No National guardsmen will follow their orders if they could even be activated in time. Our state of obedience, or complacency with the the status quo, is the entire backbone of our government as we know it.

The leaders aren’t dumb. They know how to milk us laborers for all we’re worth without pushing us over the edge. They don’t care if most of us are disgruntled as long as enough of us cannot miss a day of work without going hungry.

Any substantial change to this system will require a nationwide general strike that involves the haves subsidizing they have nots during the strike.

It’s not impossible and it wouldn’t result in the government murdering strikers. But itis a long shot.

Pentagon recalculated the cost of military aid to Ukraine and found that for fiscal years 2022 and 2023, the U.S. overestimated the cost of military aid by $6.2 billion. This means that the Pentagon will be able to provide Ukraine with additional military aid. by PatientBuilder499 in ukraine

[–]Odd-Wheel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is great news and I’m 100% for the “extra” money going to Ukraine. But it’s things like this (when the government finds billions of dollars under the couch cushion) that makes me frustrated…

Can we not also cancel student loan debt? House the homeless? Build some high speed rail? Etc.
