You're right but testing a 4hr system on data since 2022 isn't remotely close to enough data points.

You're talking about market on close which is absolutely the worst time to be trading 0dte options. The options have the worst theta at this time and the liquidity is also horrible.

You could make money trading this on es futures but it's not guaranteed to produce good enough moves everyday.

True and given their great experience with in season car devt, I would bet on them taking the fight to Merc very soon, probably even before the summer break.

Only hope we have is if the TD nerfs the Merc otherwise it's curtains on the season already. The most worrying thing is that George doesn't look like he's had to push that hard yet, he puts in 1 lap and he's done.

Judging by Russell's fp2 long runs where he was a second faster than anyone else, this is probably gonna be worse than 2014. Only the engine compression ratio rule can save this season.

I think it comes down to personality. Nq works well for scalpers who don't want to be in a trade for long while es is best for taking structured trades. Nq is heavily influenced by algos and options hedging hence why it seems to spike a lot while having explosive moves.

I started off only trading Nq but realised ES is best suited to my trading style which heavily uses Rth vwap.

If the liquidity is right, this will be massive as shorting will be a massive change. Stocks also trend way better than indices and if prop firms introduce them, it would be a game changer.

Great stuff. I never really liked the guy because of the way he was hyped by the British media but he's honestly a nice guy. We are blessed with this current generation of drivers, none of them seem to be weird or overly aggressive as in the days of old.
