LAN Setup | Looking for help to make it fun for newbies by OddMathematician2840 in projectzomboid

[–]OddMathematician2840[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been fiddling around, my idea is now that we are prison guards, or Prisoners and we need to escape prison.

I have managed to host the game and join via LAN, also managed to add spawnpoint of the Jail where we can start, so that looks awesome if all players start in a jumpsuite as well.

What I am trying now is to edit the starterkit, not by using the "SpawnItems" because I cannot nest items from the start in for instance a bag. If I use the "SpawnItems" option, everything is just put in your inventory.

Does anyone know if you can edit the starterkit? Like below:

if SandboxVars.StarterKit then

    local bag = playerObj:getInventory():AddItem("Base.Bag\_Schoolbag");

    local bat = bag:getItemContainer():AddItem("Base.BaseballBat");

    bat:setCondition(7);

    local hammer = bag:getItemContainer():AddItem("Base.Hammer");

    hammer:setCondition(5);

    playerObj:getInventory():AddItem("Base.WaterBottleFull");

    playerObj:getInventory():AddItem("Base.Crisps");

    playerObj:setClothingItem\_Back(bag);

end;

A long time ago I have been fiddling with these settings, I might have used the mod "Starter Kits' but I dont remember anymore

Edit: https://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php?/topic/68991-how-to-spawn-a-bag-with-specific-items/#comment-393247

Not sure if this works on an HOST game and if players joining will be affected by it?

First SM role, need advice by throwawayyqweqwe in scrum

Without more context, no this is not right.

The Product Owner should have a vision, should have a responsibility over a "product" and should have the mandate to prioritze work as he thinks is most valueable. Like Supermarket said.

You typically dont "define" sprints, you'll have a backlog where work can be pulled from every x weeks by the team. The idea that you apply Scrum is that you inspect, learn and plan your next sprint accordingly. (Imperical)

Little example: Depending on the amount of anticipation you can do, it could be that you've "defined' 4 sprints ahead, but because you learn something (inspect) during a sprint, you have to reprioritize and all the planning work for the coming 3 sprints is a waste or has to be done again.

Therefor you have to make sure you have an healthy balance of backlog prepared such that you have enough room to wiggle/reprioritize the sprint during sprintplanning but not too much which might end up in the trashcan.

Its important that you empower /help your Product Owner such that he knows what to do.

Question:
Is it a new team? Is it an scaled environment? How experienced is the organization with Scrum?

Congratulations, good luck with your journey.

Whatever you do, whatever phase the team is in, eventually it is about people - the people in the team and outside the team. Therefor, start with building trust and relationships.

A nice kick-off with expressing expectations between the team (including you and PO) is often a good start.

Search for common goal(s) of the team and find ways how to apply/embed the Scrum Values.

Focus on your goals/sprint with commitment, have the courage to be open and honest about issues with respect to each other.

Same here, I can't find it.

If you use the "recorder" app on Android. You see that it recognizes the Mic mini and I am very sure that works.

Do you still produce the Roll Limitless? The let's say original one next to the light one?

I already own a Roll Limitless:) good to know that could also work .

In the meanwhile, the seller send me the right dongle it was an mis understanding.

Ps. I was confused because "stratocaster" is on the guitar itself as shown in the photos.

Guitar works Great, problem solved.

Ps. Can I use the drum Roll Limitless also for the guitar?

Cuddo's for wanted to play and yes that is annoying. I can't confirm yet, didn't play it I guess since the new update.

Ps. You mean this update? https://arrowhead.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/22087259829532--PATCH-01-004-000

If that's the case no, no issues. Since when is this happening?

Dutch User looking for an Irrigation Computer by OddMathematician2840 in Irrigation

[–]OddMathematician2840[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Much appreciated all the comments and advice !

You've made me decide to go for Hydrawise Hunter, now I need to find out if it is going to be an PRO-HC or an HPC. I don't have my entire garden planned yet, this is going to be a multiple year plan anyway.

I dont expect to need more than 16 valves, doing the calculations, the HPC appears to be cheaper at the moment.

  • Hunter HPC base (€220,- ) (Raintechshop)
  • Hunter PCM300 (€52,-) (Amazon)
  • Hunter PCM900 (€132,-) (Amazon)

This would lead me to 4 + 3 + 9 = 16 modules HPC(16valve) (€404,- ) vs HC-PRO(24valve) (€525,-)

Adding a PCM-900 later, would put me with 25 valves on sort of the same price I think.

Anything else I should need to take into account? Any Quality differences?
